Dear Guardsman Customer Service,
Dear Guardsman Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the service I have received from Guardsman regarding my broken sofa. I submitted a claim approximately two weeks ago after the wooden frame of my sofa broke, and to my surprise, I was told that I am not eligible for service—even though I purchased a 5-year protection plan and it has only been about 2 to 2.5 years since I bought the sofa. This response is completely unacceptable. I have tried calling several times, and each time I get a different representative who seems confused and gives me another phone number to try, passing me around with no real help. On one occasion, I was in the middle of explaining my issue when the representative rudely cut off the call, which I found extremely disrespectful. I even visited the store where I bought the sofa, and the same cycle of confusion and lack of accountability continued. I live in a household with small children and frequently host guests, and the broken sofa poses a serious risk. If anyone gets injured because of this damaged furniture, I will hold Guardsman accountable and pursue a claim based on the protection plan I paid for in good faith. I have submitted a case, and yet no one has properly followed up with me. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and refusal to honor the service agreement have left me with no choice but to say that I would never recommend Guardsman to anyone. I expect an immediate response and resolution to this matter.
