I made an appointment with a psychologist, they rescheduled me to the next day and then they decided to just cancel my appointment and stated "Yes, I do apologize as I know we had to move our meeting from today to tomorrow. Unfortunately I do not have any more time slots to see new clients." I don't even know what prompted this because I was really nice and understanding regarding the reschedule....I do have ADHD and did forget to respond back to him saying "Thanks see you Thursday" and I responded today stating how I do have ADHD and forgot and said "See you tomorrow" at the end and then I got the cancelled notification...? so confused.

Ok so first off, this review is NOT the providers' fault in the slightest, I wanna make sure that is very clear. My therapists thru Grow were/are absolutely excellent! However, their corp business practices are horrid and predatory. Not only is the cancellation fee literally 1,000× the appt fee, but if your card is declined, they IMMEDIATELY cancel your next appt, and the provider gets no say whatsoever. On top of that, they grossly overcharged my bank acct. I had almost $200 and now it's -$26 because they charged me FOURTEEN times. For one appt. Even further, they charge for appts so late that sometimes I get charged for it the next -month-, after I've forgotten to make sure that $$ is in my acct so they can take it. How does it take an entire month to bill me, when going in person I get charged the same day??? Disgusting business practices, and a huge failure Imo. I will be going elsewhere and I urge others to do the same.

When I was seeing my thurpist at first she seemed understanding. Then when I had a few epileptic seizures where I couldn't speak. She said if she couldn't talk to me she won't see me anymore. Then I was put on some new medicine that I didn't know would put me to sleep. My husband or I didn't hear my phone ring not even once. So I send her a email telling her what happened and I don't mind having a meeting on different day. Well she more or less said she cant see me no more.

Though this platform has helped me find an excellent therapist, the platform itself has many limitations. Due to the lack of notifications, I was unable to see the referrals that my therapist provided me for seeking a psychiatrist. This was a very important step in helping me navigate through my mental health wellness journey. I originally thought this was neglect from my therapist, but I later found out that she was 100% on top of the referrals, I just never got notification from Grow.

Unfortunately, this company like many others don’t care about your mental health unless you have good insurance and/or money. I was referred to a psychiatrist and after two appointments I received a bill that exceeded 1K. In speaking to billing I was told that my insurance is out of network which is the opposite information that their intake department gave me. They wouldn’t allow me the decency of seeing my psychiatrist again until my balance was zero, despite the fact that they were at fault. Imagine being diagnosed with: Schizophrenia, PTSD plus ADHD and having your medications held hostage due to a billing error, it should be illegal.

My therapist was amazing, however, they claimed they were billing my insurance, but sent me an email a month after the session and said they’d be taking $133 out of my account the next day, they gave me one days notice for an insane charge, then three days later, again, three days later, again. Over $400 worth of charges in the span of a week with just a days notice, sending my account into the negatives. tried to reach customer service to work out a payment plan, nope, doesn’t exist, no response. I understand that everyone needs to get paid, but a days notice to take such an absurd amount of money out of someone’s account is disgusting, to not have any person to speak to to work out a payment plan or talk about other options was gross, and ironically this whole experience of having my bank account wrecked back to back to back with no idea how to resolve it put me in a dark place, but hey? i’m -$145 in my bank account so seems like therapy is no longer an option. real ironic.

My therapist was amazing but the billing is a nightmare. Sessions are very expensive. I was quoted $30 a session and then after 2 months without a bill they suddenly say I now owe $150 a session and at 4 a month, thats beyond my quote or what is affordable. Customer service is of no assistance and just blames my insurance even though they are the ones that took my insurance info for the quote that said $30 a session. So I got to have a great therapist and start seeing progress, then they bill me a ridiculous amount and demand immediate payment or they’re canceling my appointments. I literally got an email that I suddenly had to pay my balance that this literally just told me about, and it’s due the next day. No notice for payment and they cut off my sessions.

Tech platform that is good when it is good and bad/real bad when it is bad.
