Ease is the best thing about Grow
Ease is the best thing about Grow

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Grow therapy provides therapists that help people when they are in all places of their life and that is what makes this company great.

Shawndre is a great couselor. She does not bring a band aid approach, she digs for causes, and identifies practical solutions. She is always willing to try more than one approach to solve an issue.

I love how easy it was to set this up. I thought finding the right therapist was going to be a lot of work so I held off for a long time. This process was so easy. I input insurance info and then read a few bios on therapists before I found the one I wanted. I went into it with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find that my therapist had represented herself accurately. I liked the fact that I could try a new therapist if my choice didn't work out but I am very happy that it ended up working out from the very beginning.

This is a great place for clinicians wanting to start their own practice. The compensation rate is excellent and they have guaranteed pay. Their EMR is easy to use and is great for clinicians working on a few platforms. The use of your personal calendar linking to your Grow calendar is so helpful to ensure you do not overbook yourself.

Grow therapy works great for people like me who struggle with their mental health and can’t easily leave the house. I love being able to read real reviews before spending the time getting to know a new provider.
