Transitions take time.
So far the transition from my old therapist who retired and the selection process has been challenging.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. As opposed to other providers of the same service, Grow Therapy did not require me to set up an account before having the chance to look at potential therapists. After I chose therapist, everything was seamless.

always able to find a provider that you feel safe with, also a provider who matches your needs.

My first doctor wasn't a fit for me. Grow Therapy reached out and gave me a few options for another doctor. I didn't have to search anymore, they did it for me.

So happy to find somewhere that will talk to kids! We live rurally and finding someone an hour or more away is not convenient at all. This gives our 10-year-old the help they need, and we can stay at home. It is a great option. I'd give 5 stars, but we always have connection issues and sound cuts out, we lose the connection or lose clarity of the screen. Not sure what end it is on because we stream at home with little trouble.

Easy to work with

Well designed on-line system. Easy to navigate and use. You seem to have a large number of well qualified providers. My first pick turned out to be an excellent match for me. Only downside is I get too many prompts and reminders for my taste.

I used another site previously, but Grow Therapy's site is much nicer, more integrative. There are a lot of resources on it, making appointments meshes easily with your calendar. In general it makes the whole process more simplified. You make appointments, get reminders, it tells you expected costs, and you can join your session from it. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had had a few problems joining the meetings - mainly tech issues (both from my laptop and once on my phone/mobile app.) Now that I know I have to sign on extra early to see if it will be a problem that day it removes some of the stress, but I hope they will get that perfected. Today it would show me my dashboard, then immediately go to a page that said "sorry that page is unavailable". I reached out to the tech chat. I did purge my browsing/cache data and also tried connecting via link in the reminder email and then it worked fine. So it provided help, but I hope someday I can sign on every time and connect more easily. All the other parts of Grow are really great.
