Horrible customer service
No ability to access records, customer service is beyond horrible. Will bill you the night before an appointment and not inform you, then cancel your appointments due to missed payment. Good array of providers.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. The billing service is all over the place. There should be a monthly date that billing happens, not randomly whenever the insurance gets back to you.

Worst customer service ever..

I had scheduled an appointment for my daughter. It was supposed to be at 3:30. The day of the appointment, the therapist had changed the time of the appointment without reaching out to me to verify if that time would work. I was unable to reach out to her before the appointment and I didn't want to be billed for not showing up even though she changed the appointment without confirming it with me first. So I moved stuff around and we waited for her to arrive to the appointment that she had changed. She never showed. Then finally messaged me back 17 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start to tell me that the 3:30 appointment was already booked. So what, you couldn't reach out to find a time that worked for me? Then you can't even be bothered to show up to the appointment that YOU changed?

There is no technical support at all! I have been trying to log into my account for the past week to cancel my appointment - but you have to log in to get technical help and there is no recourse. No one to call. I tried an old support email which responded with a stock email - with links that just went in a circle: “click here if you need to contact us” - it takes you to an FAQ page- tried everything then “ if you still need help click here to contact us” —- takes you BACK to the same page!!! I don’t know why I can’t log in and k guess I’ll never find out!!! So frustrating- and if I get charged for this appointment after trying to cancel for 5 days - just NO! Use Better Help!!!!!

I wish I could give zero. The therapist was nice enough but not very competent. The worst part was them stealing my money for appointments canceled in advance. The only communication line is through an A.I system that isn't calibrated for therapy or billing based questions. No way to contact a person. I spent over $200 on appointments that I had pre-approved cancelations - after my insurance was charged, of course. Is that fraud?

Really weird therapist and misleading billing. Very poorly run and a terrible experience. I was seeing a therapist with Grow for issues related to religious trauma. She spent a whole session recommending the keto diet for me, my husband, and my kids. I quit after five sessions. Also, their customer service assured me my appointments would be 100% covered by insurance. Three months later I started getting $124 charges on my account. When I disputed them, they said their employee had misinformed me but there was nothing they could do. They have my bank info and I can’t do anything about it.
