False claims, unethical clinical standards
This platform preys on therapists to draw them onto offering services here, promoting that their mission is to support the independence and growth of therapists who want to branch out to practice as an individual unit. This is actually not the truth, where they are quite competitive and will penalize practitioners for any actions taken to serve clients who request migration to a different platform where they have a more cost-effective co-pay; as well as works against the ability for providers to ever get a pay increase via platforms who are willing to invest more in the cut they pay providers to offer services. They are unethically abandoning the continuum of care, which is built to promote client needs directly, and are also just blatantly lying about their selling point that they want to support provider's independence. Only if they can sequester you to only working with clients via their platform, and you are then bound. As stated above, this is actually unethical clinically speaking and represents false advertising claims they use to lure providers in.
