I do not think this is a real company. I am trying to complain about a charge but I cannot reach a human. Everything is behind a chatbot from the web chat to the phone calls. The website said, "Clients pay $21 per session on average with their insurance." The provider I used did not disclose her rate and I was shocked to be charged $222.45 since I was expecting a charge much lower. If I had known I would pay that much, I would never have signed up for this therapy. Since I cannot speak to anyone with Grow Therapy, I am sending a letter. Buyer beware, this is a scam.

No customer service whatsoever. No way to contact as a provider. Do not trust this company.

They are inline with all of the Jax medical companies who hound you to death. I wish to be left alone, not ever hear from them, but I can't seem to get rid of them. The person I see is great. This portal sucks.

I had high hopes. Seemed like a decent option - easy to navigate website - easy to schedule. Then I had my intake appointment and was basically told I needed to be medicated and housed before I can get therapy because "I can't talk to you if you're going to keep crying". Thanks. But that's why I reached out! Because I spent a lifetime of having to stifle my feelings!!

Independent contractors is always a downer because this company is jus a letter head... Piss me off when I couldn't get Important very Important paperwork filled out. Once they mentioned they can't..its pointless to stay.

I chose Grow Therapy because it advertised that sessions for people whose insurance is accepted typically cost around $21. I selected a therapist listed as in-network and proceeded based on that expectation. After my first session, billing showed as “pending – waiting on insurance” for weeks, with no cost communicated. Because of this, I scheduled a second session—only to later receive surprise bills of $133 and $150. The therapy experience itself was also very poor. The first session ended early after my new therapist diagnosed me with “complex ptsd”, and the second did not provide helpful support. When I contacted Grow Therapy about both the unexpected charges and the quality of care, they declined to assist with either. This platform lacks transparency around pricing and offers little accountability when things go wrong. I would strongly caution anyone who is cost-sensitive or in a vulnerable mental health state to verify everything independently before booking.

After 34 visits with the same exact insurance, Grow is telling me that my insurance plan has no coverage for mental health. No one knows why, but after several hours not resolved. Extremely frustrating and extremely poor customer service. Better to look elsewhere to avoid these delays.

My husband and I spent four hours choosing a therapist for him throughout several different platforms. First issue with this company we had is none of the providers had any availability, so he kept having to read and check a new one, which took at least two hours that's how little availability they had. Second and most important issue THE THERAPIST, Susan, never showed up to the appointment TWICE! The first excuse was a family emergency 5 minutes before the appointment. The second time Susan just never showed and never said anything about never showing and never reached out. One thing we should never have tolerance for is therapists who do not show up for their clients. It take so much time and courage to even reach out and then even more so to find the right one. Do not take on an occupation that your literal job is to just show up for people who need someone to show up for them if you are not going to take that responsibility seriously. Shame on you.
