Video call quality is poor. There is always a delay. It only happens with Grow Therapy platform do not experience the same with other video calling platforms.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. I have had my appointment cancelled twice without knowing until too late for my appointment. There was an issue with my payment which I quickly fixed. I wish there was another way to notify me of a payment issue besides via email which I don't check as often as I do my phone so perhaps a text would work better. Also, perhaps a two meeting grace period would work better than cutting off clients after one missed payment. Technology is not easy for everyone to use and I've found that is especially true for me when I am having mental health issues and struggling to spin all the plates.

The billing take forever.

it was 5 stars until i was forced to fill out every box on the review, i just wanted to give them 5 and send them off. the things i like in my therapy aren't guaranteed to sound good/work for all of you reading my review. try it for yourself to see if you like it, it's always worth checking out for yourself.

It’s not affordable for all and billing is inconvenient and inconsistent. Even if you have a co-pay, they’ll let it accumulate and sometimes it’s not feasible to pay all at once so any upcoming appointments you have they cancel which is so counterproductive and stressful.

Love the platform and UI for clients. Have had some issues with availability and cancels with my daughters appointments, but that is acceptable typically. Would like to have better support for questions arising from this type of situation as outlined above. It is hard to understand where to go when a provider is in fact out with an emergency with no updates from the platform or support on next steps regarding prescription refills, or replacement providers/appointments
