Excellent customer service with a phone number and live assistance, even on Saturday.

My first time walking into Great Basin FCU, I immediately was made to feel like a valued member. The teller went over any questions I had and also expressed benefits I didn't realize they offered. It was a wonderful experience. Happy to be a member for sure.

After 3 different attempts (first on the phone, second in person at the bank, and third via the virtual assistant), I was able to send money to my Navy Federal savings account from my GBCU checking account through Popmoney. GBCU had to reset my account since the first attempt to send money through the external transfer process failed.

Great Basin credit union has great customer services. There building is very clean and they will also try and help you.

My experience has not been great. I don’t feel that their banking processes are any different or any more beneficial than larger scale banks. I was treated horribly for missing two car payments because I lost my mom to suicide and had a baby in the same week. I was in over my head. GBFCU offered no compassion, no extension, no help, no solutions, no communication just one threat to repo my car on Christmas (after paying consistently for 4 years and no issues). My mortgage company helped (grateful that I didn’t use GBFCU), my credit card company was understanding - It wasn’t that I didn’t have money it was because I was overwhelmed. GBFCU doesn’t care about their customers anymore than any other bank does.
