Magic!

Amazing Transcription Team
Peter, and his team, were amazing. Transcribed over 700 images of letters between my wife and I over twenty years ago for a Valentine's Day gift. They nailed it!

Poor service, poor translation quality
Initial translation was a gibberish text file containing mostly question marks. (This was not a problem with the encoding; it really was mostly ASCII 0x3F, the question mark character.) The email said "Questions? Comments? Concerns? Contact us by phone, email, or live chat, 24/7/365." But when I tried live chat, I was told, somewhat rudely, that I should send email instead. After sending email, they sent me a DOCX file (I'd have preferred a UTF-8 text file) that contained the correct translation, but never did acknowledge or address the mismatch between claimed and actual customer support methods. Finally, the translation I received in the end wasn't very good; it left out important details, for example: the original mentioned the game was for "Oculus Go and Gear VR" while the translation merely said "VR". I won't be using this service again.

Great job, great service
GoTranscript did a great job in transcribing my research interviews. I even unintentially submitted some interviews in a different language and they transcribed them in that language without delay or question. Their service is equally great. They respond very fast and supported me with all my requests. I would recommend GoTranscript to anyone!
