There was a major flood after Helene in which they closed everything down for 10 days. The water had receded but still had it closed. They would not reimburse us for the days we could not access our unit and made no apologies. Luckily we had no water damage, but others did and they refused to do anything, basically people were on their own and they lost everything. They forced people to remove there damaged stuff so they could remediate the sheet rock from the water. DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE, unless you are okay with losing all of it with no recourse.

Avoid at all costs! They just raised my monthly rent 30% after only 3 months. I called them, no help. So whatever they tell you moving in, get ready to be gouged another 30%, soon. Bad taste. I will never do business again with this outfit.

Go Store IT is a scam. The TPP which they force you to buy is another money grab. They make you insure even if you don't want to. Don't store with these guys. Run fast! I am calling the attorney general.

As with most storage companies, they take no responsibility for anything and can raise your rates with 30 days notice. Now they are holding us hostage to buy a “protection plan” for our belongings that are on their property. Isn’t that what the mob called it? A protection plan? These people are the scum of the earth. They have you sign a contract, but it means nothing to the consumer except that they have no risk, no responsibility, no liability and need not follow any rules. They should be brought up on racketeering charges.

Crossville store is RUDE! They purchased the site, raised the rates 3 times in one year, locked me out of my unit because they wanted me to sign a new contract, even though they continued to automatically debit my payment. They left me waiting alone in the dark for more than an hour for someone to remove the lock from my unit and when I called back, since no one had arrived after an hour, they told me that no one was coming. HELLO... Ever heard of a phone call or text message to communicate status? And to top it off, I just found out that in addition to raising the rates they have been overcharging me every month. I declined thier insurance, since my homeowners insurance covers me. When I called to talk to them "Dave" wouldn't let me speak. He behaved as if I was an idiot for even calling to discuss my issue. Quote "Who did you talk to? It wasn't me. We don't do that." I'm getting my storage out of the unit this month and will never deal with them or thier affiliated stores again.
