Run. Dont start with them. Give u a rate and 2 months later increase it to 100 extra. 6 months in they increase it by another 55 bucks with more increasing rates on the horizon. They are awful greedy corporate people who don’t care about long term people.

I AM TRYING TO CONTACT ANY ONE FROM GO STORE IT IN CLERMONT, I NEED TO CONSOLIDATE TWO STORAGE (1003&1034) UNIT FOR ONE (1) 20X 10. Please help me with this matter is important for me.

They are predatory and will raise your rates over and over again. We started at $100 a unit for 2 units, it went to 160 the next month and I just got a notice they are raising it to $210 after 9 months. The units are not well kept and there is no customer service to speak of. Do not waste your time or money.

This company doesn’t care about its customers, it’s a greedy, gouging storage company that as soon as they get you in their units, start raising prices every 3-4 months. My personal experience is 20 months ago I rented a 10 x 15 climate controlled unit in devanport, FL. $215 per month, within 6 months they raised the unit $100 a month, then after 4 months they raised it again $60 a month, 4 months later $50 a month, 4 months later after $50 a month. Spoke to customer everyone, we base our rates on the market. $461 a month after 20 months, they know they have you because who has the time to find another place, move, hire help. I hope there will be a class action lawsuit against them for screwing their customers. Moved out September 2026.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE: Go Storage It, 301 Boulevard, Bradenton, Florida. THEY HAVE RATS! Cockroaches and who knows what other insects too. We found four dead rats; one was even dead inside one of the boxes in the unit I was renting. If you don’t want your personal belongings to be ruined, I would NOT recommend renting there. The shift supervisor, John, said they weren’t obliged to warn tenants so as not to alarm us. In other words, for them, losing customers is more important than the massive infestation they’ve caused in all the units. A rat infestation is very serious; rats cause a great many diseases, but for Go Storage It, that clearly isn’t important.

On Monday, I got a notification saying I had an amount due. I had been out of the country for a few months helping my grandfather, who was deathly ill. He ended up passing away, so being that all of my family was in the states, I had a logistical nightmare on my hands. I called on Monday when I returned home after seeing the last payment didn’t go through. I spoke to Omar (maybe Umar), who told me it was all going to be okay, just call back Friday and make a payment. I called on Friday, only to find out that my unit had been auctioned. All of my belongings from my divorce. I was left with absolutely nothing. Thanks to Go Store It, I lost thousands of dollars worth of items, including deeply personal belongings that are irreplaceable. I plan to sue them. I am beside myself in disgust. You took priceless things from me over a couple of hundred dollars. The greed and lack of compassion is absolutely disgusting. Judgement day will be rough for this ownership.
