I did enjoy this trip. Kevin our driver in Kigali was outstanding!!!! The best I've ever had on tour. The lodge in Bwindi was ok. However the staff was amazing. The hotel in entebbe was not the best.

I'll start by saying that I did have some concerns going due to the recent events in Uganda but once we got there I felt completely safe the entire time. I wouldn't hesitate to go and would encourage anyone thinking about doing this trip to go for it. You won't regret it. The amount of time and effort your company put into planning this trip with us was wonderful. You were so willing to adjust and change our itineraries until we got it just perfect for us and I truly appreciate all your hard work. The trip from start to finish was everything and more than I could have imagined. The driver/guides were prompt, knowledgeable, and most important very personable. I felt like we were with friends. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff at all our lodges couldn't have been nicer. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied at all times. A massage on my balcony with the sounds of the river in the background was a welcome treat after a long day of trekking. We spent 2 days in Rwanda seeing the sights and then went on to Uganda. I loved the community walk and our visit to the local school in Buhoma was humbling and so special. Our last day I did a city bike tour in Entebbe. It was a fun way to see the city and I felt like I was with a friend instead of a guide. While in Entebbe make sure you stop and try the local snack, a Rolex. It's yummy. And then there were the gorillas. Truly an experience of a lifetime. I did 2 treks and am so thankful I did since they were 2 completely different experiences. They are so gentle and majestic and being so close to them in their environment is something I will never forget. I will definitely use your company again for my next trip to Africa. Thank you for making this a trip of a lifetime!!! Lisa B Ft. Lauderdale, FL USA

Gorilla safari did a great job planning our 6 days excursion. Our guide Edmond was fantastic. Everything was well organized. There were no negatives

The trip was perfect! Everything ran very smoothly. The properties were beautiful, the people friendly and helpful and the food fantastic. The Company is super knowledgeable so everything was exactly as represented. Worth every penny. I have done extensive world travel and this is as good as it gets. I would use the Company to travel anywhere in the world!

Booking a last-minute gorilla trek definitely takes skills and talent from staff to pull off (and maybe some raised eyebrows at me for waiting until the last minute). The Gorilla Safari Company team definitely jumped through a few hoops for me. And all was fantastic. I would definitely recommend - not only The Gorilla Safari Company, but also the experience of a visit to Rwanda, Uganda, and the mountain gorillas. The booking staff and the guides in country are all polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

The Bwindi gorilla trek was a truly memorable experience. Donna and Amanda were easy to work with and we felt well taken care of during our trip. Thank you!

This was without doubt my favourite place I have visited, the gorilla trekking experience, which truly is a wow moment with the chimpanzee trek a very close second will never be forgotten, the trip to Lake Mburo national park another highlight with probably the best wild life experience in one day that I've experienced, a good standard of accommodation with friendly staff in all locations, Uganda is a lush beautiful country, can't believe more people don't visit in April time, but shouldn't complain as it meant there was no crowding at any of the places we went to, a big thank you to all at The Gorilla safari company, everything from the initial phone call was excellent and especially to Ismail our guide who took care of us, a great guy that is so knowledgeable about his country and the amazing creatures that live within it.

This trip was a dream of mine and I wasn’t disappointed. My husband was hesitant to go, but once there, he thought it was the best vacation he had ever taken. Seeing the gorillas and chimpanzees was the most amazing thing I have ever done. Africa is beautiful and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Our guide, Ismael, was wonderful and it was nice to get to know our fellow travelers, who were very friendly and funny and made our trip even better. If I ever have the opportunity to go again, I wouldn’t hesitate. The Gorilla Safari Company helped us every step of the way in planning our trip, as my husband and I had never traveled this far before. An awesome experience!!
