We booked a 7 day trip to Uganda and Rwanda to see the Shoebill stork, Gorillas and Golden Monkeys and we had a fabulous adventure! The itinerary was perfectly timed, the accommodations were great and our guides were very friendly and accommodating. It was such a pleasure working with Donna who made sure all of our wants and needs were met and that we were well prepared. I highly recommend this company!

We had a wonderful trip to Rwanda, and everything worked perfectly. I was confused though, and occasionally anxious, about who the contact was on the ground, and communication was not easy when there were occasional blips. Otherwise, we were completely satisfied with the accommodation, schedule, transport and cost.

I arranged this trip as a surprise for my husband, Donna was really helpful, explaining the different options and giving me an honest personal opinion on things. She was very patient, in spite of numerous calls from me while I dithered about exactly which options to choose. I felt she was sharing my excitement! The pre travel info was very informative so we felt well prepared for the trip, which is really important when doing an unusual holiday. Amanda even contacted me a few weeks before to check I had sorted the visas. Everything was well organised and ran exactly to our itinery. Amanda and Donna were also genuinely interested in our experience and feedback after the holiday which was very refreshing.

Fast and efficient

I am a single female traveller who decided I wanted to go to Rwanda at the very last minute. Donna was excellent in making arrangements that worked, Ishmail my driver was superb and I had just the most AMAZING time ever. Loved the gorilla trekking and also the golden monkeys. It was a once in a lifetime trip for sure. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and I never had to worry about anything. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience with The Gorilla Safari Safari Company. Donna and Amanda were superb in their responsiveness and answered all of my questions in great detail and promptly. On the day of the trip, I was accompanied by an extra-ordinary young man called Ismail, an English speaking guide who spoke very well, very knowledgeable of the local culture and it's ways and educated me on the country. He was safe, reliable and on-time.

This was an absolutely amazing experience – Made better by the service I received from The Gorilla Safari Company. I found them to be knowledgeable and approachable, especially as I had a lot of questions. The GSC also helped when it came to provided suitable provisions for my food allergies when staying at Mahogany Springs Lodge…which was beautiful and had lovely staff. I have already recommended this trip to friends and family.
