Petplan Pet InsuranceReviews of gopetplan.com

My pet from a pup to an adult has had many trips to the vet. Some required expensive surgeries. Fortunately, I had pet plan who kept paying and paying. we love petplan and encourage all owners to have it! It's truly life saving.

I had the pleasure of talking to Kim, Happiness Manager, a couple days ago on how to sort out a policy transfer. Kim was knowledgeable, clearly describing how the process worked, while at the same time, she was funny and kind. The folks at PetPlan make it easy with their mobile platform that has allowed me to file claims really easily, but the real measure of customer service comes when you need to speak with someone, and that someone is very good at what they do. I could not be happier with PetPlan and the excellent staff the employ. Kim, thank you again for your help!

WOW! I must start by mentioning the name of the representative who took the time to take on my claims. Leah Leslie is her name and anyone whom lands a phone call with her is one unknowingly, lucky person. On the past weekend myself and my partner noticed out 10 month old puppy not using his hind left leg, which we grew gravely concerned about. He's a rescue and quite rambunctious if I do say so myself, so we registered for insurance just last week. What timing! However when we brought him to the emergency on Monday I was devastated to hear that we needed surgery immediately. Being a first time dog owner who lives downtown Toronto, I did not anticipate that I would need such a large amount of money at my dispose so soon, my mistake. I had called PetPlan in a panic and grew concerned as I began to receive estimates as per his surgery. I left the call in a fuss but a few moments later my phone rang and it was Leah. From that moment on she took charge of the situation, upgraded the policy as we were able to, got all the documents required to me in no time, and then even went on to personally handle the pre-approval for his surgery; which was expedited so quickly that just 5 days later, he is already in his procedure. I cannot begin to explain how big of a leader Leah is and how much stress she was able to dilute the situation of. Her service and speed is impeccable and I do hope to be privileged in having her service my family again. I recommend PetPlan to any individual who cares deeply about their fur baby, but who also cares about the quality of service they receive. Thank you Leah, and thank you PetPlan!

I am new to being a pet owner, my first dog has been quite a trip already. He needs a hip surgery and I was scared that it wouldn't be covered. so I called in to check benefits and also to get a little peace of mind as I am new to having dogs, I am not so familiar with the terms many people use or the vets. I talked to a really nice girl named Kimberly, she not only explained my claim benefits and that the surgery would be covered, but she also made me feel at ease about the whole process. Being able to calm down a nervous pet owner is a great skill, and I hope if I ever call back again I have someone just as nice to help me through a bad situation.

I just got off the phone with an employee named Courtney and I just wanted her company and superiors to know how outstanding she is. Not only did Courtney answer all of my questions, she also did so with knowledge, patients and and kindness. She spoke about and represented your company so well. Although I have yet to invest in insurance for my puppy I without a doubt would get pet insurance with this company, above all others, because of staff members like Courtney. No need to look any further pet parents, if you need pet insurance you should definitely get it through this company because they have knowledgable, friendly and caring staff like Courtney! Thanks again!

Love this company! Our little guy was so sick in early 2014. Petplan was wonderful and fulfilled their coverage obligations. I had NO issues and their customer service is wonderful. His claim was pushing $10,000 and fortunately we didn't have to focus on the money part...we could focus on our little guy getting better. He will be 7 this week...he's doing great and is loving life. And a year ago when we got dog #2...we purchased Petplan for him too! Thank goodness we haven't had to use it but it's great knowing we have it! Thank you Petplan! Highly recommend this company - with NO hesitations!

Gall bladder removal: Our Max was so sick, and the bills were astronomical. Well over $7000. Pet Plan paid all but $200 within two weeks of submitting the claim. This is one of many very positive experiences we have had with Pet Plan. They have saved us thousands of dollars. Were it not for this plan, we might have lost Max due to financial hardship. Their customer service, whether by phone, email or claims processing, is efficient and very regarding of the pet owners and what they are going through with their sick pet. I never had to worry about checking in with the company. Our CVS Emergency Vet Specialists are very familiar with this company and its ease in filing claims. I highly recommend pet insurance from Pet Plan. They cover your pet and give you peace of mind. I just had a great conversation with Pet Plan's rep, Kim. She was immediately helpful and cheerful. What a pleasure. Thank you Pet Plan for helping Max live a longer and healthier life.

We have had Petplan for over 7 years and have literally saved over $15,000 due to the coverage we have on each of our pets. We submit claims and are usually reimbursed in a week's time. We love the peace of mind knowing that our fur babies will always get the care they need without us going broke, thanks to Petplan.
