Pet plan is very easy to deal with. Our claim was handled promptly. I filed the claim online uploading our bill with the vet facing the medical information. They answer their phones 24 hours a day with the person answering the phone able to retrieve your information. You can tailor your plan to suit your needs with choices of deductible and percentage paid. Highly recommend pet plan

I was very hesitant about purchasing Pet Insurance because I have read more negative than positive. On a whim I decided to go ahead and purchase it for my new Golden Retriever puppy. Several months later he was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. He ended up having total hip replacement surgery! Pet Plan has been amazing and covered his hip replacement surgery along with all of the pre-op, physical therapy visits and everything. We are very thankful!’ One of the things I like most about Petplan is their transparency. When we first got our puppy I submitted all of his medical records for review. I was given a list of everything that was NOT covered so that there were no surprises. I think most of the people who are unhappy must not read the plan and taken advantage of this option to do the records review. They are a very transparent company and let You know upfront what is covered so that you’re not surprised in the event of a medical issue. I highly recommend pet plan and will continue to let others know as well. I will never be without it!

Petplan has provided me with excellent coverage for my 2 cats for the past 4 years. Super helpful customer service (which is available 24/7), an easy claims process and lots of helpful articles via email have made me a very happy customer. They've helped us through many scrapes and illnesses over the years and I couldn't be happier that my 2 cats are Petplan protected.

Petplan Pet Insurance is wonderful! I have two Yorkshire Terriers about 6 months of age and have already had to file two claims for one of them. They were both handled promptly and favourably. The process for making a claim is so easy - all can be handled online. I love the phone app as well. I would never again be without insurance for my pets and highly recommend PetPlan.

I was nearing the end pretty tough overseas work trip when my friend who was dog-sitting my pet Barkley texted me saying he was at the Vet/ER because Barkley broke his leg. I called the vet immediately and was told it was a bad break, definitely required surgery and it had to happen ASAP. I honestly thought he might lose his leg. The doctor was upfront and told me this could cost as much as 6k. When I said I had pet insurance she was relieved for me and Barkley and said she tells everyone it's a must have for pet owners. She's right. Barkley is getting the care he needs to recover and Petplan is really coming through. This was the first claim I filed so I was a little overwhelmed with the process at first but they are very reachable, kind and understanding over the phone and they walked me through every step of the process. Having pet emergencies is undeniably stressful and this was no different but it's nice to know Petplan was there for me and Barkley to make this whole thing a little bit easier. I highly recommend Petplan to owners.

Samantha was super helpful, as are all of the reps I've spoken with over the years at Pet Plan! I've had insurance on my dog and cat since we got them, 7 and 9 years ago and it is so worth it. Pet Plan makes the claim process easy, they are always there to help and with people like Samantha on the other end of the line, we truly feel like they care about our animals and want what's best for them.
