As a pharmacist I don't know why you would want to give Goodrx permission to sell your personal information to the highest bidder. That's how they make money. They don't tell you that! Most pharmacies already will give you a discount if you don't have insurance that is way less than Goodrx. If you get offered something for free there's ALWAYS a catch.

While I have not used GoodRX. I have one medication. That has instructions to the pharmacy. Not to fill the prescription with the generic 'look-a-like'. Because the generic is not effective. I have to get the name-brand. But, While the purpose of GoodRX is fiscally feasible. When it comes to instructions from the doctor. That are specific.. My doctor would have to write multiple letters. Because the pharmacy could potentially be different every time.

Pulled up Goodrx coupon for cheapest price in town $15.73 for a prescription, showed it to Walgreens pharmacist she keyed in all the info but charged me $23.97,so why give one price on coupon but in reality I'm not going to get it at that price. I call that false advertisement. Good Rx should stand behind the discounted price !!

Prices are not correct online. The excuse given is that the pharmacy updated since they posted that price. I guess they updated the price 4 times the amount posted online. According to Walmart pharmacy Good Rx uses a different manufacturer than they do to get the price the estimate.

100% of the time, it works half the time. Prices are representative of specified types of generics. If they dont have that specific variant, your screwed.
