Walgreens does not guarantee the acceptance of coupons. I have a coupon that would lower the price of my medicine to $48 at Walgreens, but I was informed that they cannot accept the coupon for that amount; the price would be over $100.

GoodRx uses unlicensed providers to call in prescriptions
GoodRx let an unlicensed provider call in my prescription to the pharmacy. Both the pharmacy and I have been trying to have them fix it for almost a week now.
GoodRX replied that all of their providers are licensed. My pharmacy said the provider that put it in wasn't active. I guess they're not wrong and both can be true?

Hi, Kevin. We'd like to assure you that all of our GoodRx Care providers are licensed. A Care team member will be reaching out directly to assist you.

This is GoodRx Care
This is about GoodRx Care. I tried it and got my prescription filled. This process was easy and pretty straight forward. They only do the Prescription for 120 days, so I had to renew it which was an even quicker process.
Here is the problem you will have to pay to renew it every 120 days for the rest of your life, because they will not do the prescription for longer.
I contacted them but they said they could not do longer than 120 days due to clinical Regulations, but this is not true, I have had this same prescription filled by a competitor for 6 months and one year in the past.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Gordon. We're glad you enjoyed your GoodRx experience. We are always looking to improve our services, and we will be passing along your review to the appropriate teams.

Company refuses preventative care for women
While I was able to get medication for a UTI quickly here online, I mentioned that when going on antibiotics I will need preventative medication to prevent a yeast infection. When I explained this, the company said that I'd have to do (and subsequently pay for) a separate Yeast infection meeting for that care. However, giving care to prevent a yeast infection when a woman goes on antibiotics is a common enough practice and is normal at most other medical providers that I have seen. I feel this is an important enough issue that I'd be neglecting women everywhere if I don't stand up for them in this matter and implore the company to provide an option for that preventative treatment to women getting UTI care without making them wait until they have symptoms badly enough to create (and pay for) a separate treatment visit. Meaning, by way of having a vagina, I would be asked to not only suffer more discomfort in the form of an unnecessary infection, but also pay more to the company to get treatment for something their prescription caused.

We're really sorry to hear that your GoodRx Care experience was not the best. GoodRx Care does not prescribe prophylactic antibiotics for the prevention of UTIs or other more complicated situations. If you think you may need this type of treatment, we recommend working with an in-person doctor to discuss your recurrent UTIs. We do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy to refund your visit fee. Please send us a message through our message center, and we'll be more than happy to help.

Good rx used to be a good discount…
Good rx used to be a good discount insurance card. Now it’s the worst one out there single care is the best one on the market. I only paid $75 for my prescription yesterday when good RX had me paying 160 for it. # goodrxsucks

Please keep in mind that GoodRx coupon prices are tied directly to the cash prices, which can fluctuate daily. We always encourage you to take advantage of the best price available to you, John. 🙂

GoodRX has wasted so much of my time…
GoodRX has wasted so much of my time this year simply trying to get (and keep) birth control. My initial visit should have resulted in a full year's BC. The pharmacy did not receive the refills with the prescription, and GoodRX's support staff refuses to call in the prescription again. I went back and forth with at least 12 different support agents and even called the nurse directly. They will not make a simple phone call to fix this.
Then I paid another lump sum to get *another* appointment with another provider for the exact same prescription, which is what support told me to do. The prescriber saw that I already had the prescription and cancelled the appointment. I explained the situation. No response.
After going back and forth with support over another two days, all they could tell me to do is book yet a third visit. It's not easy and fast to book these visits (it requires filling out pages upon pages of forms). Nor is it free. All of this so they don't have to make one phone call to the pharmacy for a prescription they've already provided.
Wish I had never heard of GoodRX. What a labyrinthian nightmare service. If you want real human beings who care about you, find your prescription elsewhere.

False Advertised Prices Are NOT Guaranteed to Work
What they advertise on their website as the price for a given pharmacy does NOT mean that it is the price that the pharmacy will give you.
Essentially, you are HOPING that the pharmacy's system agrees with the price on the GoodRx app or website. I even had the pharmacy look on the GoodRx website LIVE, WHILE I WAS THERE, and they saw the price -- but could not give it to me because it did not match their system.
At the end of the day, GoodRx LIES about the price they show you and CANNOT (and DO NOT) guarantee that you will get that falsely advertised price.
I should also note that I was using GoodRx GOLD. And they provide no substantive or useful support for that paid service either. They just said, "sorry, we can't help you with that."
When the pharmacy's system matches GoodRx, it works. But when it doesn't you are stuck paying for the difference, and GoodRx does nothing to help.

Hello MD, we're sorry to hear about your negative experience and would be happy to look into this. We will be reaching out via TrustPilot for more information, please respond at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your the additional information, MD. Upon reviewing your call in our system, we identified that you were attempting to access a special promotion coupon for a pet medication. Please note that some manufacturers impose restrictions on coupons, which can exclude pet medication options. This possibility is outlined in our FAQ section here: https://support.goodrx.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004948783-Can-I-use-a-GoodRx-coupon-for-my-pet-Can-you-help-me-find-a-pet-coupon
While we list coupon prices and price comparisons, it’s important to clarify that we do not control over these regulations, limitations, or any price adjustments. Pharmacies, manufacturers, and distributors are not obligated to disclose these changes. In such cases, our team will work to help you find the next best price, either at the current pharmacy or a different one. We appreciate your feedback and will share it internally to better improve the GoodRx experience moving forward.

Nurse practitioner handled the visit…
Nurse practitioner handled the visit video visit call they charge me $49.95 however that money was a waste because the medication she prescribed for a topic dermatitis was between 300 and $600. Shouldn’t she have offered other options or known that this cost was Astronomical who can afford that kind of money now I’ve thrown away the $50 and I am still dealing with the pain.
