I use the GoodRx app every month for 4 medications. I save a ton. Unfortunately the pharmacy at Harris Teeter in Kernersville NC informed me that they would no longer be accepting it for 2 of my medications. If you are having trouble getting the price on the GoodRx app I suggest presenting the GoodRx coupon with your prescription and verifying that you can get the medicine at the price and quantity when you drop it off. If not you can leave with your prescription (or have it electronically transferred) without issue.

Used GoodRX for the first time today after my insurance denied a prescription. I paid less than what I would have if the insurance would have approved it. I will always check this now before using the insurance plan.

I installed the GoodRx app awhile ago but didn't use it or set up an account. I recently had to get a prescription and CVS told me it was not covered under my insurance but offered to run some coupons. I remembered I had the app and brought it up on my phone and showed them and they were able to process it and I save almost 50% off the price. The key I think is to get someone at the pharmacy that knows how to run the coupon through the computer. There is a Member ID, Group Number and Bin number on the coupon just the same as an insurance card. Also you can't combine insurance with the coupon code so that could be another issue for people who are not able to use it.

i tried to use my goodrx card at my local king soopers pharmacy. The good rx price was to be $90.66 for my meds, and my insurance price was $165.39. When the pharmacist ran the good rx card, she said it would be $230 so we went with the insurance cost. Because I was in the drivethru with lots of cars behind me, I did not try to rectify this. It really bugged me!! I placed a call to Goodrx to ask what I might have done wrong. Jocelyn was so helpful! She said it should be $90.66. She called the pharmacy on my behalf and within about 20 minutes she called me back and got me the discounted price! Now I just need to go into the pharmacy and get my refund. I'm thrilled with the high level of customer service!~ This was my first time using goodrx, on the suggestion of my dermatologist, and I'm a fan for life!

My prescription a year ago was to be $420 at one drugstore and $273 at my grocery store with my Med D insurance. I found it finally at a big box store using GoodRx for $73. My wife just had a much greater savings where the prescription generic was $400 thru insurance, it was OTC for $48 and she got it with GoodRx for $12. I'm wondering why we have Med D.

I don't really understand why some people think this is a scam. I'm unlucky enough to have lousy health insurance and to also have a chronic medical condition. I use GoodRx to find the best prices for my medication. Occasionally they offer coupons that add to these savings. To date, after several years of use, I have always found the app to be helpful and honest. By spending a few minutes online, I end up saving money -- what could be simpler or easier? They never ask for any personal info, just an email (which you can setup as a "general" email used solely for the purposes of shopping or other online activity if you want) and zip code for purpose of identifying local pharmacies. Not much more to it than that.

Love goodrx. Had a problem with Publix not wanting to honor it because it was a controlled substance. However, I argued with them and they claim they gave me a store discount that ended up being the same price as it would be with GoodRx 😂 but I feel that if they don't have to honor it then it should be on the website.
