I would rate zero if possible. This is the worst home repair company I’ve ever dealt with. They truly do not care. They have canceled on me three times now .it’s three weeks I have been without a washing machine. do yourself a favor and before you buy an extended warranty do not buy it if it’s Goodman’s home services.

This company is a joke. Tried to get in touch with them by phone, text, AI chat on website and email. No one returns messages. Showed up on a different day than Whirlpool scheduled. Whirlpool terrible to work with too. I called a local company to fix the problem.

Whirlpool contracts with this company to do appliance repair. They are terrible. They have rescheduled my service appointment three times now within the last month and I am still waiting contacted whirlpool and they gave me an appointment with another company two weeks from now. What happened to good service?

I purchased the Whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe's January 2026, by May of 2026. The refrigerator quit dispensing water and ice and gave me an error code of E3F6. I contacted whirlpool, and they set me up with goodman home solutions to do the warranty repair. I had parts shipped to my house. Which the technician changed out and it still did not resolve the issue. The technician said he was going to have the order. Another part to try and change out. I received that part. He came out, replaced it. And still no resolution. The technician contacted Whirlpool, and they said to change the motherboard out. I received the motherboard and the technician came out a third time and replaced the motherboard and still no resolution. Meantime, they changed and canceled my appointment several times which is frustrating when you're having to take time off of work. But they don't contact you to let you know any of any changes in schedule. I am now waiting for my fourth visit From a technician that was supposed to be coming from 8 to 12, has now been rescheduled from 1 to 5, and I would not have known if I didn't call this morning To verify they would be here from 8 to 12, and they said the technician had to reschedule to 1 to 5, but nobody told me via text a phone call, email or nothing. I DO NOT, repeat do not recommend this company for any kind of repairs For your appliances. And as for Whirlpool, very disappointed. I have a former neighbor who's an appliance tech and said to stay away from all the others that whirlpool was the only good one left. I beg to differ!

I'd give this company negative stars if I could.Have lied to me about parts availability - I had to call Whirlpool to find out they didn't send in order w/parts required-basically a blank order. After talking w/WP, found out it's not worth getting refrigerator repaired and better to buy new. Now I've been w/out refrigerator for 5 weeks due to their lies, and inability to reach anyone.I was urged to purchase a D&G Warranty for the refrigerator, being told they would refund all my $$ at any point. That's also a lie - they said I'll have to pay a fee for the tech that finally came out to diagnose, but all he did was take off back panel, said it was compressor & control board, and parts needed. He wouldn't be able to fix it, another tech would. Set an appt for week later, only to have it cancelled due to parts on "backorder". After waiting another week, CS rep said they didn't have update. Finally called WP a week later (yesterday) to find out Goodman had not specified parts needed, and when she looked them up they were available.Trying to reach Goodman today - no way to get through-not even chat...and D&G won't refund my warranty money until Goodman service order is cancelled.D & G said it will take them 7-10 days to escalate & cancel, and that I will owe a fee since a "diagnostic" visit was made. 15 min max. So both Goodman & D&G are a rip off, but this review is mainly about Goodman Home Solutions. Don't waste your time.

TERRIBLE company. Whirlpool uses them to contract repairs and Goodman has changed my repair appointment day multiple times without asking me. Contacting them is impossible. They don't answer the phone and their automated texts direct you to their online chat which always says "no agent is available". They also don't reply to emails. I called Whirlpool and they are aware of the problem. They set me up with a next-day repair with another good company. When the techs were here they said Goodman is a disaster and they often have to correct their bad repairs. I don't know how Goodman is still in business.

Buyer beware, especially if your home warranty company assigns Goodman Home Services to perform a repair. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend requesting a different service provider. Goodman was assigned through Domestic & General for Whirlpool to repair our dishwasher on June 1, 2026. After their technician completed the repair, the dishwasher did not work properly. Within approximately 48 hours, our engineered hardwood flooring began buckling and cupping. The floor became soft, uneven, and visibly damaged, and we had to shut off the dishwasher’s water supply. A second technician later found that the drain hose was disconnected from the drain discharging directly under the floor. The second technician reattached and clamped the hose and documented that the flooring had been destroyed by a large amount of water. The damage did not stop with the visible flooring. A professional mitigation company found enough moisture to require a dehumidifier, air scrubber, fans, daily moisture monitoring, antimicrobial treatment, and demolition of the damaged flooring and portions of the cabinet bottoms. Our seven-year-old engineered hardwood could not simply be patched or easily matched, which made the damage far more extensive. We immediately notified Goodman and Domestic & General and provided photographs, videos, text messages, and other documentation. Despite the seriousness of the situation, communication from Goodman has been consistently poor. They initially stated that the damage claim had been forwarded for review, but we have struggled to obtain meaningful updates, a clear resolution, or appropriate follow-through. Because the water damage required immediate attention, we could not wait indefinitely for Goodman to respond. We had to file a claim with our homeowners insurance to address approximately $25,000 in damages resulting from what occurred after their repair. Goodman has continued to ignore or fail to meaningfully respond to both us and our insurance company. At this point, we are preparing to pursue formal legal remedies simply to obtain accountability and reimbursement. Even before the property-damage claim, the service experience would have warranted a negative review because of the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inadequate follow-through. The way the company has handled the resulting damage has made the experience significantly worse. If a warranty company assigns Goodman Home Services to your repair, do not assume that you are required to accept that assignment. Ask questions, research the company, document the condition of the appliance and surrounding area before any work begins, and consider requesting another provider. If they do perform work in your home, closely inspect and test everything immediately afterward. A mistake can happen. What matters is how a company responds when that mistake causes serious damage. In our case, Goodman’s continued lack of communication and accountability has left us with extensive damage, an insurance claim, and the prospect of litigation. I cannot recommend this company.
