Okay Moisturizers but not worth the price
I have been using the supercharged trio for a solid 2 weeks now and I haven’t used any other product on my face, not even face makeup. I listened to the directions exactly and used a new face cloth each time. I did this regimen 2 times a day, once when waking up and once before bed. First, I’ll start off by saying is it worth the price? No, it’s not and here is why. I have noticed there is no change from my previous routine with how my skin looks (I normally use Ancient Bath and Body’s facial products such as the Rose Water Toner and Vegan Collagen Serum. Ancient Bath and Body can be found on Etsy). The first week of using this I did break out pretty bad which was expected and was mentioned. The breakouts stopped after the first week. 2 drops of each one is NOT enough. I dampened my hands and everything. 5-6 drops seemed to be perfect for Mint and Bright. The dream serum was about a half a dropper full. It’s hard to get exact drops out of it due to how viscous it is. Since I have been using this for 2 weeks now I have seen very minimal pore shrinkage. I think the pore shrinkage is due to the hot wash cloth compress, which is known to shrink pores. I forgot about this. The Mint has a nice mild citrus scent and Bright has a nice subtle Bergamot Scent. The Dream Serum has a very subtle rose scent. Overall, these are decent moisturizers. Lets break down the ingredients: MINT: Vitis Vinifera Oil = Grapeseed Oil, Citrus Reticulata = Mandarin Essential Oil, Citrus Sinensis = Orange/Blood Orange Essential Oil, Citrus Aurantium SSP amara = Petitgrain and Kunzea Ambigua = Kunzea Oil… So, the most expensive oil is the Kunzea and they use that it is native to Australia as a marketing tactic thinking you are getting some crazy exotic oil and it is readily available by many reputable companies that sell essential oils and carrier oils. This can be made for fraction of the cost they sell it for. BRIGHT: Helianthus Annuus = Sunflower Oil, Citrus Paradisi = Grapefruit Essential Oil, Citrus Bergamia = Bergamot Essential Oil and Agonis Fragrans = Fragonia Oil… The Fragonia Oil is another native oil to Australia and this is the most expensive oil used in this particular oil blend. Again, it is still easily made and for a fraction of the cost. DREAM SERUM: This one is a bit more in depth and intricate as far as ingredients go and has a high glycerin feel to it. Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Acacia Senegal (This actually has a med to high level of allergies and Immunotixicity according to EWG . org it is from a deciduous tree. Hydrolyzed Rhisobian Gum (Its mechanical action has an immediate lifting effect.) , Xantham Gum (used as a thickener in cosmetics), Rosemary Extract (Antioxidant is an additive that enhances and preserves their freshness, especially that of the oils contained within them. Rosemary Antioxidant protects the body and skin from free radical damage) Glyceryl Caprylate (is a co-emulsifier that is mainly used to stabilize O/W-emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions) and is produced from various vegetable oils. Glyceryl Caprylate also restores the oils of the skin, regulates the skin moisture and acts as a humidifier to the skin), Rosa Damascena Flower Oil (very fragrant pink rose used as fragrance in cosmetics. Extensive research has shown it has mixed benefits. In the pro column, inhaling this flower's scent seems to have relaxing properties and the plant's petals contain skin-soothing and antioxidant compounds that can benefit skin.), Davidsonia Jerseyana Fruit Extract (One of nature's most effective antioxidants. Containing Anthocyanin that researchers are identifying as an exciting & powerful compound for the cosmetic industry. Assists in prevention of wrinkles, eliminates free radicals, reduces UV damage, improves skin health, promotes collagen, elastin & elasticity of skin.), Marshmallow Extract (t is known to provide relief from itching, swelling, redness, and chaffing due to its emollient and soothing properties.), Cucumber Fruit Extract (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-conditioning and Lilly Pilly Extract (has good astringent properties that improve firmness of the skin, while its high vitamin C and fruit acid content have great anti-ageing effects to keep skin looking radiant and youthful. Lilly Pilly is a natural source of gentle AHA) The Dream Serum is probably the only one that would be worth a heftier price, however, you have to use a lot more of it vs what is recommended, so in the end you are going to be spending quite a bit of money to keep up with this routine.
