Hi Team, We’re sorry to hear that you were concerned about your company’s profile being listed on Goodfirms. We understand why you would want clarity around how the profile was created and how your company information is used. Our research team regularly identifies companies that may be a good fit for the Goodfirms platform and creates profiles to help businesses establish a presence on our platform. Companies can claim their profile at any time and take control of the information displayed on it. We also want to clarify that we did not reach out to your customers as part of creating your profile. Although this review dates back to 2021, we’re still happy to understand your concerns and look into the matter. We’ve also requested some additional information through Trustpilot, and you’re welcome to respond to our request there as well. We’ll be glad to review the details and assist you further.

Hi Elle Téa, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that the creation of a Goodfirms profile for your company without your direct involvement may have raised questions about our listing process. Our research team identifies businesses that may be a good fit for Goodfirms and may create profiles for them on the platform. Once created, businesses can claim and manage their profiles. We would also like to clarify that the creation of a company profile does not involve contacting the company’s customers. If you do not wish to have your company listed on Goodfirms, we can assist with removing the profile. While this review dates back to 2021, we remain available to address your concerns. We have also requested additional details through Trustpilot, and you can respond to that request directly there so we can review the matter further.

Hi Adam, We’re sorry to hear that your experience with Goodfirms has left you with these concerns. We understand that discovering a company profile you did not create yourself or receiving unexpected outreach can understandably be frustrating. Goodfirms is a B2B reviews and ratings platform that helps businesses discover software and service providers through company profiles, reviews, ratings, and industry research. As part of our research process, our team identifies businesses that demonstrate expertise or strong capabilities in particular services and categories that are relevant to the businesses and decision-makers using our platform. Profiles may therefore be created to help showcase such businesses and make them easier to discover. Businesses can claim and manage their profiles, and if you no longer wish to have your company listed on Goodfirms, we can also assist with removing the listing. We’d also appreciate the opportunity to understand your concerns regarding the traffic and outreach you mentioned and look into the matter further. We have requested additional information through Trustpilot, and you’re welcome to respond to that request directly there. Although this review dates back to 2021, we’re still ready to hear your concerns and assist you with any questions you may have.

At Goodfirms, we take the authenticity and credibility of reviews very seriously. We’d be happy to explain our review verification and publishing process in more detail if you’d like to learn more.
