Lexy was truly amazing in her thorough and timely feedback, she was always available for any questions. We got the best puppy and could not be happier with the entire process. She kept us updated and shared lots of useful instructions on easing Bandit into our home.

Great communication and good resource to find an Adult dog

The fees they charge are outrageous! Over $112 just to process my credit card. $25 Protection & support fee. $135 for their "Good Dog training lifetime fee, that you can't opt out of. I don't mind paying for the puppy I want but Good Dog is really rips you off on all the charges!

Hi Kathy, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re so happy that you were able to find your new best friend through Good Dog! On Good Dog, buyers can always choose to pay with zero fees by selecting an ACH bank transfer. If a buyer prefers to use a credit or debit card, the processing fee you mentioned goes directly to our payment processor, not to Good Dog. In addition, the Protection & Support fee is entirely optional. Many puppy owners choose to include it because it provides valuable benefits like: - Payment protection - Access to training resources and expert support - Professional training resources and exclusive partner discounts This fee also helps us maintain our high standards and continue improving our platform to help more families like yours find their perfect match. We understand our Care Team has already been in touch with you to walk through these details and help explain how the different payment options and fees work. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime at [email protected] — we’re always happy to help. Warmly, The Good Dog Team

they are advertising purebred bernerdoodles, which are 100% not purebred, only a designer mix

Hi Kelly, Thank you for sharing your concerns about dog health and breeding standards – these are issues we care deeply about too. Every breeder on Good Dog must go through our comprehensive screening process and meet breed-specific health testing requirements before joining our platform. We require OFA testing and other health screenings based on each breed's specific needs. Good Dog is a place for all dogs because we support the fundamental right to breed dogs and we know the future of well-bred dogs depends on responsible dog breeders. While we welcome responsible breeders of all types, every breeder – regardless of what they breed – must meet our health testing requirements and Breeder Code of Ethics, which you can read more about here: https://www.gooddog.com/standards-and-screening https://www.gooddog.com/breeder-code-of-ethics We hope this answers your remaining questions, but please do not hesitate to reach out if there’s anything more we can help with. Warmly, The Good Dog Team

Our puppy is wonderful, we were able to find a breeder who bred working line or straight back German Shepherds. Saylor Shepherds were wonderful from communication to pickup and have stayed in contact even after to make sure the puppy has acclimated well!!!
there
Much support from Good dog which was appreciated! And good communication with the breeder….answering lots of questions for us.

Finding our dog and dealing with the breeder was a very pleasant experience. Only negative experience I have is when I wanted to pay for my dog over time with a payment plan, the providers app was not very user friendly.
