Good DogReviews of gooddog.com

After searching other sites where we would leave requests with no answers; we stumbled on to gooddog accidentally and are so thankful we did. We left a message for a specific breeder and received an answer within 24 hours. We are waiting for the litter and our very special puppy.

Just started the process of looking for a Shih Tzu from a reliable breeder. Good Dog found me one within 25 miles. Everything appears to be turning our just great. I will be back with more updates once the puppies arrive.

I had the best experience using Good Dog to find my new Fur baby Maggie. I applied to several breeders but I can’t say enough about the responsiveness of the Army of Dachshunds Breeder. From the get go she responded and within a few weeks I touched base and found out puppies would be available. From that point we received weekly pictures and updates on the status of my puppy all the way to pick up day. We were provided with a wonderful care package and health information to take home with us on pickup day. Thanks again to Army of Dachshunds for providing a great service.

Gun Runner Terriers from Zeeland Michigan has beautiful Rat Terriers. I just got my guy this week and he is so sweet, smart and handsome. You can tell he was well cared for, he was clean, calm and very affectionate! Couldn’t be happier.

GoodDog has been amazing to us! We love the help and support we get from them and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The applications we get through GoodDog have been great as well. We don’t advertise anywhere else anymore.

I am a breeder. I just love Good Dog and all the educational information. They are quick to answer any of my questions. So much good information for breeders and buyers. Breeders and buyers also protected during the buying/transition process of the puppy. Thank you Good Dog.

I am a breeder and have had nothing but great experiences with gooddog. In the beginning when I applied to be on their site I felt like they did a good job of verifying I'm an actual person and followed up with me on my practices and my program to make sure it was a good fit for their site. Any time I've had an issue they have always been available and I was able to get ahold of someone right away. I love how the site is set up, it is easy to use for the most part and I like that I'm able to screen potential buyers by applications. I think the only thing that could make this better is if they offered some sort of transportation for puppies to get to their new homes. That would broaden the horizon for both their site and breeders without having to worry about distance and how to get the puppy from A to B. A good contract with a few good companies for this would be ideal. I feel like gooddog has been a good avenue to get my breeding program known and out there. I have had so many great customers from their website that I wouldn't have had otherwise. Like with any company you will never be able to please everyone, it's impossible. I have read all the bad reviews and some of them are just plan and simple not what I've experienced not even close and I just don't see gooddog picking and choosing certain people to drop the ball on so to say. It just doesn't make sense and if it doesn't make sense it's not true. I'm actually glad to hear that they do screen their gooddog breeders as much as they do and that they don't just let everyone in and if they didn't let you on their site I'm sure they had a really good reason and I respect that. There are definitely two sides to every story and on reviews you only get one side. I have to comment on the guy with the bad review about a parvo puppy. Lots of flaws in that review. As much as breeders try to be careful things happen. It's not necessarily anyone's fault. Parvo is contracted lots of ways and can be brought to a breeders home by other buyers who come to get their puppy. Firstly, gooddog can't force anyone to take a puppy back. Secondly, don't exaggerate the truth it makes your story seem not credible. It doesn't cost 10k to save a parvo pup and I live in one of the highest priced states. Also the pup having GI problems AFTER parvo isn't true either. Parvo is like the common flu for dogs and you don't get lasting side affects from the flu. Your very lucky the pup actually survived, the survival rate with parvo isn't good even if caught early and with treatment. I am very pleased with my experiences with Gooddog. I've been on other breeder sites and this is by far the best platform, it gets a good amount of traffic, and great customer service for both sides. Nothing is perfect but by getting feedback you can adjust and make things better and there is always room for improvement. I think they are on the right track. Thank you gooddog!

So far my experience has been great. I breed German Shorthaired Pointers and the new pet owners I have are amazing. I like that I know some about them before I talk to them.
