Finding a breeder close to where I live was a bonus. I wanted another puppy but the idea of traveling a distance was something I really didn't want to do.

Good dog made it easy to find breeders of the specific breed I wanted and to see their background, location and pictures of the pups and parents. The ease of contacting breeders and the process of payment was also reassuring, it made me feel secure that my pup was reserved and that there were no issues about payment upon pick up. I think it protects both the breeder and buyer. The ongoing support from the site is also a plus. I was so pleased with my experience and adore my new pup! I would definitely recommend using good dog!

Jamie with Holley Doodles was great! Didn't mind my millions of questions, we even FaceTime with the dog. I got all her vet records and info. We love our Sami

This was such a pleasant experience. Our breeder was wonderful. Answered all our questions, without hesitation. It was obvious she was a caring breeder. We felt so comfortable with her we decided to adopt our little 3lb girl. We drove from Alabama to Texas to pick her up. The pass off was seamless. We are so happy we used Good Dog. They pick the right breeders! Claudia we love you 💕

Linda is a wonderful person to deal with, she answered all our questions before and after picking up our puppy. Linda made it easy for pick-up, suggesting a location that made our drive more manageable since we live in Wisconsin. Our puppy Ginger is a sweet, energenic and delightful addition to our family. We appreciate the Good Dog website for safe payment and the training tips available to us

I happened on this site back in August, I love how this site allowed you to look for a specific breed but also you can also narrow it it down to a specific area. I found breeders within 50 miles from my home and checked out the puppies they had and the breeding practices of each breeder. I really like the vetting process. I picked my breeder based on closeness and the fact that she had the medical testing posted.

I got a puppy from a breeder a few months ago and although she is a sweet dog, my experience wasn't great. First, she was extremely underweight and had to go on a high-calorie diet to get back to normal. What I first thought was a mellow temperament was actually lethargy from malnutrition. She also had severe worms. Many puppies have worms but hers were so severe she was actually vomiting piles of worms and the vet said hers were so bad they were likely contracted in utero because the mom was so severely infected, meaning the care and living conditions are bad. My puppy will need deworming for a YEAR to get ahead of this. Lastly, she has severe congenital knee issues. When I told the owner they were defensive about this and it is unlikely they aren't aware they have breeding stock that has this issue. When I emailed Good Dog they said to email the breeder, which I did and like I said they were not concerned and defensive. They initially asked NO questions about me or my home, which should have been a red flag, then after just got defensive and dismissive about my concerns. Seeing how many litters this breeder turns out, I'm 100% convinced they are a disreputable puppy mill. If Good Dog doesn't look into concerns and breeders don't care, how exactly are they ensuring this is an ethical process? The answer is they aren't and I'd definely never use them again. It makes me sick to think that the first time I ever decided to use a breeder I inadvertently supported such a disgusting practice.

We were fearful of scammers while looking for a pup. With Good Dog, we felt secure in the knowledge that we had a recourse if something did not pan out. The fees were a bit heafty, but you get what you pay for. All in all, a very pleasant experience! We found our pup through Pannell's Precious Pups. Kimberly took GREAT care of the pups, she kept us up to date with photos and videos, and she genuinely loves her pups! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for AKC registered pups. ❤ We were looking for a pet, but AKC breeders seem to have a better quality of pups.
