I am recently widowed, and although many friends and relatives tried to pressure me into getting a dog right away, I only halfheartedly pursued this. I expressed interest in one dog, but didn't respond to subsequent e-mails until at least three weeks had passed. I finally responded, and stated my reason for dragging my feet. My e-mail was answered immediately, and was very comforting. Not only were condolences given, I was assured that I could take my time in getting back to them. I will definitely get back to them, and hopefully get a young dachshund from them. I am looking forward to working with them.

Good Dog put me in touch with an amazing breeder. We have been able to keep in touch as the pregnancy has progressed for the 2 Momma dogs. I would highly recommend Good Dog as they vet each of the breeders to ensure the breeders are providing healthy, quality dogs.

Good Dog doesn't seem to inspect it's breeders before allowing them to list dogs. When I reported a breeder for selling underage puppies that breeder was put on a "watch list" and nothing else. All of the messaging on Good Dog talks of safety and assurance that you will be supported, but when a problem arose there were no refunds and no help. I feel like I paid them for nothing.

Easy to make my payment to the breeder. Felt confidant in purchasing a puppy from this breeder after reading about Good Dog. The training manual has been so helpful in getting prepared to get ready for and train my puppy. My Portuguese Water dogs passed away this summer and it’s been a long time since I had a puppy. I forgot a lot.
