Rose Dachshunds does not have ethical business practices. I contacted her. She said she would help me find a puppy. She sent me pictures of the puppy. I told her I wanted her and offered to pay the breeder a deposit. She then didn’t respond to me for several days. She then blocked me. Come to find out she sold the puppy to someone else. Luckily, I found another puppy who is super cute and looks similar to the puppy I was offered from Rose Dachshund. Would not recommend even entertaining a puppy from Rose Dachshunds. She will ghost you and sell a puppy out from under you quickly.

Very easy to submit an application when I found a dog I liked; breeder was very quick to respond. Breeder called and discussed everything with me and scheduled a time for us to meet. Payment for our new fur baby was done through Gooddog which prevents scammers getting your money.

I purchased a puppy from a breeder I found on GoodDog. When I took him to my vet at 12 weeks old I learned that he has a heart murmur and needs immediate and very expensive life saving surgery or he won’t make it to 6 months old. I reported this to GoodDog and they took appropriate action to have this breeder no longer be able to sell puppies on their site. A few days after GoodDog did this the breeder simply used her husbands name, created a new account and now she continues to sell puppies that are not being properly vet checked before they go to their new homes. Pretty disturbing that this breeder continues to sell puppies on their website and that GoodDog is not thorough enough with their processes to prevent this from happening!

We had the pleasure of purchasing our puppy from Deer Run Beagles. The owner, Aleah McPhatter, was extremely pleasant, helpful and responsive to all of our inquiries. From my perspective, I absolutely cannot express my gratitude enough in this review. As a first time dog owner, I truly did not know what to expect. My sons wanted a dog, and they both had been asking for a dog for years. So, for the last two years, I began the daunting task of researching the perfect dog for our family. Fast forward to October 2022, I finally decided to get a beagle for the boys. Aleah McPhatter’s Deer Run Beagles intrigued me for multitudinous reasons. She asked and answered multiple questions; sent photographs of our puppy-to-be; and kept me updated on our puppy. When our puppy, Bandit, finally arrived we were thrilled and excited at the same time! Bandit was transported from North Carolina to Florida by a transport service recommended by Ms. McPhatter. Ever since Bandit has “come home,” he has been a bundle of energy, literally. You can tell that he had been loved and cared for prior to us getting him. If you’re looking for a beagle, you really should invest in Deer Run Beagles.

I have been looking for good quality breeders, and had been running across so many fraud scams that when I found Good Dog, I was so excited. I have found the perfect breeder and now waiting on the little puppy. Thank you for bringing us together.
