Eight months ago, I bought a "pure bred" Border Collie from Birch Hill Border Collie and am still waiting on the registration papers proving that I paid $1,500 for a pure bred animal!
AVOID this company and the fraudulent "Breeder" Birch Hill Border Collie!!!!!!!!! You will overpay for a mutt!

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
Our goal is to make sure that everyone visiting Good Dog in search of a puppy has the opportunity to connect with a great breeder, form a strong bond, and ultimately find the perfect furry addition to their family.
We're continuing to work with your breeder to request an update on the status of your paperwork, and recommend that you also reach out to them directly.
Also, we know that questions around a pup’s registration can be confusing, so we’d love to share some educational information on registration with this article, Dog Registration FAQs, [https://www.gooddog.com/health-hub/dog-registration-faqs].
Please reach out to us anytime if there is anything additional we can help with. You can contact us at [email protected], or by phone at 855-446-6336.

Scammed by the breeder... Update: Good Dog Honored their God Dog Guarantee!!
I was looking for a golden retriever puppy for my present golden who recently lost her "sister". I found Roffka Raised through Good Dog and contacted the breeder (Meredith) about adopting the last puppy in her current litter she had advertised. She asked if I would be interested in a puppy from the next litter she is planning. I told her no, that I was looking to adopt a puppy now. I placed the application and she accepted me for this last puppy. I put the $200 deposit down on it on Dec. 23. She then contacts me on Jan. 2 and tells me that she can not sell me that puppy because the stud owner "changed their mind and now wants "the last puppy" from the litter. So she had to give her the one I reserved for $200. She told me she would put a refund check for $200 in the mail as soon as I sent her my address. I sent her my address on Jan. 3. On Jan. 12, I still had not received the check so I contacted her and asked when she had mailed it. She told me that she had not had time to leave the house because of caring for the puppies. I asked her about refunding through Good Dog to make it easier for her. She said she rather not because of “tax reasons”. She then told me that she has not gotten the $200 from Good Dog yet. She also said that I “never signed the contract that states NO REFUNDS and that she did not have to refund my money but she was going to on her time and not mine.” The fact is she never sent me the contract even after I gave her my correct email address twice on Good Dog message board. I told her several times I never got it and even told her I would come to her house (2 hr drive from mine) and sign it. The day before I was supposed to travel to her place to sign the contract, she texted me and told me she could not sell me the puppy because of the stud owner wanting it. Regardless of the contract, she still breached her agreement to sell me the puppy that I paid the $200 deposit on. Meredith then told me she would put the check in the mail on Tues., Jan. 17 when she takes the puppies to the vet. She then tells me on Tues., she couldn’t go by the PO because her daughter had strep and had to take her to the doctor and she would put it in the mail on Wed. Jan., 18. I told her that would be fine. She then posts a message on the message board on Thurs. that her "entire family has strep". I told her I appreciated her getting the check in the mail that Wed., Jan 18. I have not heard back from her so I messaged her on Thurs., Jan. 26, that I had not received the check. She informed me that she did not send it with tracking and that she had not gotten it returned. “Thanks for letting me know.” So I asked about canceling that check and sending another via tracking. She said that would cost her more money. I again suggested to do the refund through Good Dog and she refused to do that.
I first contacted Good Dog on Jan. 12 and a very nice young lady was very helpful, but when Good Dog reached out to Meredith about the refund, Meredith became very angry and rude toward me and told me she didn’t have to refund my money because of the contract I never signed and that she would refund my money on her time. I again contacted Good Dog on Jan. 26, 27 after I still haven’t received the check from her and left 6 messages throughout the 2 days, but GD hasn't returned any of my calls. I am very disappointed in this company and the lack of support for your “Good Dog Guarantee”. I am also shocked that this website would allow someone like this breeder to do business and take advantage of honest people looking to adopt a family pet. It's been over a month since I paid the $200 deposit. I expect Good Dog to honor their guarantee that I paid for when I put the deposit down on the puppy from Roffka Raised.
Also very disturbing to me was when this breeder contacted me to tell me she could not sell me the puppy I paid the deposit for, she offered me a proposition to be a “guardian parent” and she would only charge me the $200 deposit which I already paid and I would get the pick of the next litter. She said that I would receive the contract for ownership, but she would retain the breeder rights. I would get the puppy and have to bring it to her when it went in heat for 5 - 7 days so the puppy could be impregnated and then the puppy would come back to me to stay while pregnant and then I would have to return the puppy to her for 8 weeks when it went into labor. This would be done for the next 3 years! Who would do this to a family pet?? This definitely set off red flags! If this is how she breeds puppies, what guarantee is there that the pregnant dog is getting the proper prenatal care and that the puppies are developing properly and will be healthy when born? If I had known this was the kind of breeder she was, I never would have considered applying for one of her puppies.

UPDATE: After another week of getting nothing but excuses, lies, and threats from Meredith, Good Dog DID step up and refunded my money!!

Horrible person saying she is a breeder backyard breeder
They do not answer the phone I’ve called 50 times the breeder dirty paws sold me a backyard breeder Australian shepherd which turned into a goat oh yes they do goat yoga also
The puppy had barnyard worms he also had a bladder infection had to have a urinalysis done 200 bucks!!
The dog is getting super long legs not like a Australian should be
The so called breeder turned out to not be a breeder we called the vet she used they informed us she wasn’t the breeder just someone that brings puppies in for vaccines totally lied to us! They had the puppies in a tiny fence in the sand they had to go play ice hockey so we were never asked to sit down just shoved a vet paper and a contract she pulled off the internet!
This company is in Utah no way they can know all the breeders they were no help with the sick puppy we ended up with!!never agsin will I buy a dog from GOOD DOG or Dirty paws there a lying bunch of people!

PTSD new pet for life
I am a disabled American veteran and reached out to Good Dog with a very special request as I am looking for a service dog that I can train for my needs to combat my PTSD. I am hoping that I will get my new buddy this spring. Good Dog has been so professional and understanding of my needs and I will always be thankful and will continue to assist them in the future as well for many other veterans that suffer with PTSD as well as many other injuries and a good dog companion is the right answer.

I emailed a breeder over a month ago…
I emailed a breeder over a month ago and yet to hear back from them. If I could give zero stars I would! VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least as I truly wanted another springer spaniel as we lost our 17 year old in November.

BUYER BEWARE
I got my dog Marlo from good dog. He came with a severe dermoid on his eye. In the breeder contract she stated that she would cover costs for all hereditary issues. She is not doing that. Good dog has not helped me in getting her to uphold her end of the contract. I can’t afford to take Marlo to a specialist and also can’t afford the surgery he requires. BUYER BEWARE OF GOOD DOG!!!!

Beautiful, well loved puppies
I’ve had a number of dogs from many breeders over many years. Jennifer Carver is one of the best. She answered my questions promptly. Her corgis are raised in her lovely home and well loved by her, her husband and children. Emily is a beautiful corgi, in excellent health and so smart. I met both of her parents which was great. This is one of the best “new puppy” experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend Good Shepherd.
