Good DogReviews of gooddog.com

I have used good dog as a breeder for several years. Overall I love the platform… a couple things that could improve… lowering the fees.. also, not allowing litters to be posted without breed specific health testing completed and proven on the parents. While many breeders post their initial breeding pairs they don’t always keep up and this would give buyers more security.

I have placed my puppies on good dog since my first litter. Almost all of my 70+ puppies have sold. The buyers they've screened have been great, providing loving homes for my puppies. They also guarantee my funds when buyers pay through good dog, which makes me feel safe.

Transaction was a breeze. Your coordination with the breeder was so spot and we got our dream puppy.

We found a wonderful pup, ability to share photos and communicate info easily, put us in contact, communicating with Jaime, a dear pup pop/ breeder, wonderful experience, thank you all, as we continue to communicate~

Good dog is such an easy and hassle free way to find ethical breeders, as well as good homes for your puppies if you are a breeder! They take a lot of time in educating potential families, being on call if they are needed for both breeder and owners. The fees are a little high on both buyer and breeder that’s probably my only downfall I see but honestly it’s worth it for the smooth transfer of ownership and help they give! Payments are secured and protected for both the breeder and owner.

Natalie is so kind and helpful! She made sure to answer all of our many asked questions and made us feel comfortable before picking our boy up. I’m glad I chose her and Eagle Cliff Kennel as she gave us such a loving pup!

I am a "breeder" on Gooddog. They have limited my visibility. Why??? For the MOST self-defeating way possible. I have 4 puppies. They are 4.5 weeks old. Gooddog states, AND THIS IS INSANE: "My visibility will be increased when I get more deposits and payments through Gooddog". You see how this is a terrible business model?? How can I find people who want puppies, and receive payments, when Gooddog is blocking me???? What's more?? I've emailed them at least 5 times, and they don't get it. They just do not comprehend how ridiculous they are being.... [Update] Gooddog left a reply. It states the obvious but does NOT address the issue, of "reduced visibility". You see how oblivious they are?? They just don't get it. What if every sales" site limited visibility until sellers using the site generate revenue?? It's self-defeating. ...and they just don't get it.

The app took some of the concerns out of the picture, such as payment, communications, and record keeping. I definitely found it useful and fairly easy to navigate.
