I am so grateful I found gooddog.com which led me to the most magnificent breeder Carolyn Rogers of Menagerie Magnifique Pugs & Boston Terriers of Ferrum, Virginia!! The gooddog.com support service was there for me during the whole transaction and the mega step of trusting an online service with the hacks that happen today! I can assure you that gooddog.com is worth the small fees charged for the support and added confidence going forward with a breeder one may not know. It’s a major leap of faith, but gooddog.com reassured me and walked me through a month of waiting before my dream Pug came home! I can’t be happier with the gooddog.com service and I’m even happier with the breeder and her stellar breeding experience and practices!! Thank you so much to all the gooddog.com staff especially Madi who kept up with me and made sure I felt confident and had all the information and support I needed!! Way to go gooddog.com! Because of you I’ve met and brought home my dream Pug, Neesie Matice!! She is now the love of my life and I’m so grateful that through you, I found her, and my heart now loves AGAIN!!

We connected with a breeder in Athens, GA I purchased my dog on GoodDog. The breeder’s name was C&E Royal Shih Tzu. They also go by the name of Royal Kennels. Erica Ortege is the person that sold me my puppy. I paid thru GoodDog to make sure that I was covered just in case something went wrong. I purchased my puppy on 4/5/2024 and she passed away on 4/8/2024. The day I picked her up, on the ride home, she had watery poop and wouldn’t eat any food. She did drink water. She wasn’t running around playing nor walking. I just thought she was scared. I couldn’t get her to eat all night. The next morning, she only wanted water and she had watery poop again. I went to the store to get her some milk replacement just in case I still couldn’t get her to eat. Later she had watery, bloody poop and started vomiting up water and blood. I called her vet to make an appointment and I also called the ER Vet. The ER Vet felt she has parvovirus, so I took her to ER Vet and they test her for parvo(which she didn’t have). They told me that usually before a puppy is placed into another home, they usually would have been given a parvo shot and dewormed. Long story short the ER Vet discussed with me about gastrointestinal. She also started to treat her for inflammation, nausea, gave her fluid injections under her skin, probiotic, panacur and ondansetron. The sent us home with meds and told me not to feed her until after two hours. She still wouldn’t eat so I feed her with a bottle to get food into her. I stayed up all night keeping my eye on her and giving her food every two /four hour as well as water. Sadly, she passed away 4/8/2024. We sent the breeder and GoodDog an email. The breeder said she was sorry to hear that and that the dog was walking, running as well as eating well when she was at her house. There’s no way a dog would get that sick in that short of time. I never seen this puppy walk, play, eat on it’s own from the time I purchased her. I purchased under GoodDog because they claim the breeders are good and verified. GoodDog should be on top of this mistreatment and the conditions the breeders keep their puppies because in the end, GoodDog's name is there. I’m very disappointed and very stressed with the situation. GoodDog offered us $250.00 to cover a deposit for another dog if we purchased another dog from them, as well as our GoodDog fees, but we can’t get the money back from the breeder for the purchase of the dog. The breeder, Erica Ortege, stopped emailing, texting and taking calls from us and GoodDog. GoodDog needs to have a refund policy put in place for the breeders to abide by if a puppy is very ill and passes away within 30 days of selling a puppy.

The Good Dog website is a free, and great place for breeders, and people who are looking for the perfect pet. They make everything easy for breeders to show their animals and communicate with the people who are interested. My pets are being shown available in my local area as well as areas that are farther away. I have listed my litters for the past 3 years and have had buyers from Good Dog with every litter I listed.

THE place to go to when you are looking for a quality puppy from quality breeders. I will not go anywhere else!

Exceptional experience with the website AND the breeder Champagne Posh Papillons that I connected with. The website is very user friendly. I received rapid response from the site after submitting application and the breeder was always thorough in her replies to my numerous questions and kept in touch with frequent updates, photos & videos. We picked up our papillon puppy on 3/17 and are so in love with her. I could not have felt more comfortable with my decision to use Good Dog for our search.

The good dog app enabled me to locate breeders for my specific needs. It was very easy to use and to communicate with the breeders as I went through the process of acquiring my pup.
