Good DogReviews of gooddog.com

So thankful to have found Good Dog. Knowing that breeders are vetted in order to sell on here is comforting and the buying process was easy with payment protection from Good Dog. We purchased a Pomksy named Daisy from Pomsky Life ETC and couldn't be happier! Kyler answered all of our questions about the breed and provided pictures, videos, etc..Kyler met us with Daisy and gave some items to go along with her. Blanket with mother and siblings scent, food, toys, etc which was very helpful. Highly recommend Good Dog and Pomsky Life ETC.

It's nice having a 3rd party involved for money and messaging. Made the whole transaction seem more secure, and made everything super easy. My breeder was great - the puppy is super healthy, had 3 deworming, and it's first shot. He also came with a bag full of goodies (food, pads, toys, dog bowl, etc.). I don't know if this was due to the individual breeder or if Good Dog demands this of their breeders. But everything went great and I love my new pup!

The breeder answered all of my many questions. I have a DM clear puppy. She is very healthy, great early socialization by the breeder and a snuggle bug. She is going to be a big girl. I had DNA testing done by the AKC. I am very happy with my girl. Her appetite is healthy and she has no apparent allergies.

In Nov I bought a black and white female from Athena for my mom! Holly was a very sweet puppy she was puppy pad trained! You could tell she was used to human attention! Last week I bought a gold and white boy for me! Holden blue is gorgeous he was also puppy pad trained and very social, I have only had him a week but he is a wonderful smart and happy baby,Athena also sent me pics of Holden Blue n videos until he was able to come home! When both puppies came home they had a huge goody bag of stuff given to me by Athena! You can't go wrong buying a puppy from Athena!

Be extremely cautious when using this site because they charge administrative fees, don’t vet their breeders well, and don’t honor their protection policy. I paid the protection policy for a lovely toy Maltipoo I purchased in May 2025. The dog was quite expensive, and just a week later, in addition to several other health issues, it was diagnosed with a pre-existing eye condition called KCS. Good Dog wouldn’t honor their protection policy and insisted that I try to resolve the matter with the breeder. The breeder took no responsibility and suggested I return the dog. A inhumane and cruel suggestion because we have developed a strong bond. Be very cautious and don’t bother paying extra for the protection policy. Adding a response to Good Dog’s rebuttal. They are saying the dog wasn’t diagnosed with KCS by the former vet before I bought it. That’s like saying the dog wasn’t diagnosed with cancer. It’s irrelevant because the cancer was there just like the KCS was there. Their vet just didn’t find it. The breeder on Good Dog platform sold me a sick dog with no rabies paperwork. Even though I paid extras for the protection policy all they have to say is talk to the breeder. Unacceptable!

Using Good Dog was SO EASY! From finding our new puppy, to purchasing and picking her up, and everything in between. The process was smooth and the communication from the breeder was the best I've experienced.

Pure excellence! I had the pleasure of being apart of searching on Good Dog for a honest reliable breeder thats when i found April with Clinch Mountain Dachshunds although a little reluctant in searching for a new dog as ours had recently passed April was so warm and caring and help me understand that it was ok when our hearts are hurting that we sometimes need to fill this with Puppy giggles! We are not replacing we are warming are hearts. The whole process was above & beyond any expectations i could have ever had imagined! We traveled over 15 hours down to get our little baby worth everything every step of the way.Oakley was very well cared for and raised!Everything was top notch! Explaining everything to me along the way! This breeder is more than just a breeder they love and care for these dogs with every bit if their being! This will be the only place i will ever go if i choose to add to our family ❤️❤️

The first puppy I wanted was a flop. I had used your company before and it was an OK mess. I have had an excellent time with all of your people.
