Excellent software

I signed up for a 14-day trial for Nitro PDF Standard. After signing up, I discovered it is an online trial, which I didn't want. Apparently the paid version is also an online product. I have to assume that, because there is no download for "Standard." Thank gahd I didn't pay anything. I spent an hour on the website looking for a way to immediately cancel the trial. No way to do that. Used the AI chat and the information it gave me doesn't even exist on the website. This company's website is fubar. Totally convoluted. What a mess. Believe the bad reviews posted here. No wonder Nitro is no longer listed in any of the online "best PDF programs." Home base San Francisco? Give me a break. This product has Asia written all over it. What a deceiving company, lacking any integrity at all.

Really like the software, everything is quite seamless. A tad too expensive for the general users in my opinion but I hope it grows well.

Support sucks. Pro V 14 stopped opening and the advice was to uninstall and reinstall, but then the only download was for the yearly support fee, even thought I had already purchased the full product. Can't find a way to contact them to resolve the issue.

Betrüger! Habe dort ein Kombi-Paket aus PDF-Bearbeitung und e-Signature gebucht. Nach Abschluss hieß es plötzlich, dass e-Signature nicht dabei ist, obwohl es auf der Rechnung ausgewiesen war. Haben den Vertrag umgehend aufgelöst. Kann von dieser Firma nur abraten.

No dark mode, after reaching out to customer service they said: "With version 13, there were options to customize the color of the menu bar, but these options have been removed for version 14. The product improvement board does have some threads open for dark mode/theme, if you would like to add a vote" Why on earth would you take away QOL features on a paid product? Even Foxit has dark mode and accomplishes most of what Nitro Pro does, while being freeware. Can't imagine the thought process here. Otherwise Nitro PRO is usable, if hard to look at.

I purchased Nitro 9 for $118.99 (for personal use). In 2020 my pc crashed and I bought a new pc but wasn't able to use Nitro 9, so I purchased Nitro Pro 13 for $159. Today 4/7/2025 this new version refused to open up. I tried to reinstall application but in the downloading it stopped with an error about "Something is blocking Nitro from proceeding." I had found a troubleshooting instruction where it told me to uninstall it and reinstall it. I did so and it completely erased Nitro from my pc. Just like the comments on Redit from others, I have not been able to get help from the Nitro web--it kept giving me a run-around to the same page. DON'T BUY THIS SOFTWARE! I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!
