Double the Expected Price and No Customer Service
I explored the GSS website that offered "Buy 3 get 3 free for $24.95 each" for Magnesium Complete. You fill in your information in the left side column and in the right side column are the reviews. I filled in my personal and credit card information, and at the bottom of this section of the website you have 2 options: read the reviews to the right or click on 'Complete Purchase' on the left and hope you get to see a purchase preview before making the purchase. I clicked on Purchase Complete which was followed by 'thank you for your order.' What?? And there was no order to be found. Minutes later I received not the order but an email 'Receipt' for $149.70. Thirty-five minutes later another email arrives that provides a link to the order. I expected a bill of $74.85 but instead was billed $149.70. I located the exact website again, inspected it closely, and near the top of the right side, where the reviews are placed in deep black fonts, is one line in light grey font that says "Show order summary" with a drop down arrow. You don't notice it at all when filling out the left side, and it isn't visible on the page once you reach the bottom of the left side info section, so all you see is the "Complete Purchase" link, which I expected to show a purchase preview before finalizing the purchase. And I re-reviewed the entire offer before clicking on Complete Purchase and still didn't see the light grey 'Show order summary' line hidden near the top of the right-side column. Very deceptive. Why not show the order preview plainly? So after receiving the order notice email, I immediately replied to their email to cancel the order and gave my reason. I then called the number on the 'Receipt' email but only reached a machine voice. I also clicked on the customer support link and sent a similar cancellation request. No reply, so I sent another cancellation request to customer support. No reply. Then a day later I receive a shipment notice so I sent a 4th cancellation request. 3 days later and still no reply. Non-existent customer service, and when combined with the unclear website pricing, I now have no confidence in this company or the quality or performance of this product. One other point: while the company may be located in the U.S., the shipments are made via e-packets, which originate in China. So overall, I would not recommend this product or the company because of the deceptive pricing and the lack of customer service. I was hesitant to pay $75 for 6 bottles and certainly didn't want to pay $150.
