Mark your credit with no help
I have possessed an apple card for some years now. I purchased a product that was lost in transit and cancelled the order. I switched from apple to google products around the same time. Apple car apparently only sends emails via icloud email. Since I no longer possessed an apple product or paid for icloud storage I no longer receive icloud emails. Finally I received that my credit card was 30 days passed due. I called customer service and paid the balance for the product I canceled and had not received. Customer service assured me my credit would not get marked. Fast forward several weeks and my credit was marked and dropped over 100 points. I am a permanent and total disabled veteran with a family of four and was house shopping and all of that is now off the table bacuse I was misled, as well as locked out of my account and was unaware of any current charges. Customer service was unable to help and neither was the credit bureau(s). The system is flawed and does not offer access to accounts outside of apple products. Even 2fa is sent to known trusted apple device which if you do not have one then again you can not verify or a apple product with biometrics such as fingerprint reader and again I do not have. So beware if you have this card they will not work with you, call you, send documents via mail just simply mark your credit and say sorry for you which is such an unacceptable situation. Thank you for setting me back lord knows how much time before I can shop for a home again for my family all from poor communication or lack there of and a proprietary niche access method(s).
