I was so excited to work with Gold Image because they’re local and seem to be able to print just about anything. There work examples always looked so sharp and high quality. However the past few experiences I have had with them haven’t been the best. They seem to have issues at communicating and following up. If you have a project aside from any of the automated simple ones on their site make sure to schedule it way far in advance with them otherwise you’ll need to check in constantly. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to feel like you’re talking to a wall or being ignored when you’re trying to get stuff printed for a client. The quality of their items are also not the best. I’m overall very frustrated and honestly wouldn’t recommend them unless they make some changes. Start replying to your customers and following up with them. It’s not our job to chase you.

Okay if you're in a pinch. I ordered some postcards from Gold Image because my usual printer messed up the color and so they were being reprinted and I was currently out. Pros: They're fast and the prices are comparable to the competition. Cons: Poor quality, website issues, slow customer service. Quality: My cards arrived as scheduled, but the quality is markedly worse than what I'm used to. The printing is slightly blurry and the colors are a little dull. They're usable, but I would not reorder. Website: Lots of issues. I kept getting an error when trying to input my custom dimensions, but apparently that's because you have to put the smaller number first, but that's not indicated anywhere. Also, the website only works correctly on Google Chrome, but again, that's not indicated anywhere. Customer Service: Slow to respond to a request with the "rush" option checked - I had to ask for them to return it after 24 hours (their own timeline.)They sent me a quote form filled out incorrectly, so it got the same error that I got when I tried to do it before contacting them. They have a number you can text, but I never got a response from doing so.

Did not end up purchasing. There was confusion on how large of an area could be printed for a certain price. I wish there would have been more clarifcation on the webiste, or some sort of error message when I submitted a file that was too large for the "plate size" I had selected. This confusion was mostly user error as I was able to selected the 8.5x11 paper sixe, but didn't catch the "foil area" size. Again, I was able to subit a file with a foil area much greater than what I had selected. The sales rep was not very helpful in explaining the error, just told me that I had to pay extra. There was a good amount of back and forth before I decided to cancel the order. At that point, I felt like a pain to him as I asked quite a few questions. I still have not received a refund, I never confirmed my artwork, so there was never any final agreement/confirmation for the print job to be completed.

Printing Quality Issue with Excuse My experience with Gold Image Printing is a bit disappointed. - I ordered double-sided business card for same-biz day. - I was in the traffic so I couldn't make it. I should've done the shipping cause there was no shipping charge. SO I request the hand-in delivery for next day. - Hand-in delivery was guaranteed around 1pm but it arrives around 4pm. - I opened it and found out the back side with information layout goes left side but up and down space was okay (However, the company told me the employees might be confused since sometimes it could be the original design but IT WASN'T). - So they doubled up the printing amount for me as compensation but it was temporary thing for me so it wasn't an actual solution to resolve the issue. - They ended up printing 250 pcs total, HOWEVER, the edge of the business card was a MESS.

While gold image printing was definitely fast and efficient with their services, the quality of the print for my project was not up to standard (vibrancy of the inks were not good) and I had expected better. I’d recommend them for quick services and their wide availability of print services but not if you’re looking for a top grade quality print.

As a small woman, black-owned business, every dollar is an investment. The first printing experience had challenges. In the end, my printing was delivered. I did a 2nd printing as well. The turnaround was short and my customers love my product.

Great print quality, however communication was slow, unenthusiastic and inconvenient with the designer I was working with( Josh). I needed to check in constantly to get a reply to my emails and keep the ball rolling. All emails that were sent by me were not replied to unless I called or texted the designer to check in. There were no suggestions offered when it came to designing the fliers. Something I would expect when working with a professional.

The print was too fuzzy and felt cheap. We had to dump the whole lot. We were going to go somewhere else.
