It's the last straw for me. I've been a member since before they opened to the general public (about 35 years). They recently would NOT cash a check I wrote to the person. He walks into the back to cash it (could prove he was who he says). They left me a msg that I had to call them - took 3 calls and 20 mins to get through and then when I gave them the okay to cash the check they fingerprinted the guy!!!!! I'm pulling all the rest of what's left out and going to another bank. That wasn't the only reason, just the last straw

I helped my son and daughter in law purchase a RV. They set up the account to pay the bill every 2 weeks. Well it started out fine then Golden 1 decided to not accept one payment but accept another. I have argued numerous times to fix what they (Golden 1) have messed up, they keep saying they will but they never have. Don't use Golden 1 to finance anything they will screw up your credit in the process.

My Son a Golden One customer was going to buy a vehicle from me his father. THe vehicle is registered in Nevada he lives in Sacramento CA. They will not process the loan because the vehicle is registered out of State of California. He is lives in California WTF.

My complaint is only about customer service as I’m not a member. I got several ad postcards from G1 and tried to get off their mailing list as I’m very satisfied with my credit union of 44 years. I’m sure I was dealing with AI in the several emails from customer service—no idea how to remove me from a mailing list, couldn’t understand I wasn’t a member.

Absolute worst company to work with! If your payment is a day past the 30 day period, they shut your account down so you cannot make a payment. This company is the worst I’ve ever had to deal with! I had a family emergency and I couldn’t even make a payment when I was out of town without my account number,

Was using Zelle to send a small amount for closing costs on a timeshare. They froze my account. Called their number and they then locked my account and go to a branch to verify my identity even though I verified account. Why did they lock my account, because the lady on the phone heard a voice in the background! This was of course my wife who is also on the account. This bank is terrible!!!

After numerous successful external transfers from my bank account, G1 declared on a large transfer that would have satisfied my entire credit card bill, that the external account wasn't verified and thus suspended. The system said that the payment would post on the five days later but I needed to re-verify the external account. On the date the ACH was supposed to post, they instead cancelled it. They are now claiming that my bank is blocking the return attempt but they never, in fact, "had" the funds. Thank god for trace numbers. Some corrupt group has taken over this financial institution and I suggest running far... FAST!

they keep placing holds on my paycheck deposits, for up to 11 days - claiming there's a fraud alert been with the same employer 28 years, never had a check bounce takes multiple emails & calls to get them to release, only for them to do it again 2 weeks later had enough of this crap, going to another bank
