My order was processed & shipped as soon as the last item was in to fill the order. Emails were sent to notify you when order was shipped. Tracking of order was excellent. The only negative thing was coins were shipped in tube without anything placed in tube to keep them from moving around in shipping.

Afterplacing our order the company has regularly updated the status of our order. we received our order on time as they had promissed at the time of order. The container cap was not tightly closed so the coins were all lose in the bag which had scratched few coins.

I ordered two St. Gaudens $20 gold coins in "EF" (extra fine) grade. One was acceptable, and the other was not. It was clearly not EF grade, and it had a distinct copper hue. I have ordered St. Gaudens from various places over the years. This was my first time ordering from Gold&Silver online. Within 10 minutes of writing the above, I was favorably impressed when I received a call from a manager at Gold&Silver who offered to exchange the coin in question. They quickly sent a replacement coin with a "strong" EF grade, bordering on AU. Thanks!

This was my first time buying gold. I had looked into it years ago, but just didn't know enough to know who to trust! With the economy looking so bad and the dollar about to collapse, I decided to start educating myself again about gold and silver. I ended up ordering silver... it arrived safely, in a good size box, taped up and inconspicuous, (I didn't want to advertise to everyone that I was buying silver). Here is my only real issue. When I was researching and getting to know the many gold/ silver outlets I focused on this one, Gold and Silver Online, and a couple of others. I emailed a few questions to this site and stated in the email that -at least to start off- I didn't want any phone calls, just email responses. I didn't give a reason, didn't think I needed to -or- that they would even care! My main reason was because my mom was coming for the holidays and planning to stay a while. I was hoping to talk with her about buying gold or silver due to my concerns with the economy. However, she's in her 80's and I just didn't think she'd take just my word for it. I figured if I could ask some questions via email, get some *personal* responses back and then read them to her... she would definitely consider purchasing. She has a good amount in savings, especially since my Dad died, and I'd hate to see her lose it all. Eric Griffin respond quickly to my first email, and I appreciated that, but when I sent him the second follow up email asking what exactly was the ACH system for payment? -and- why is the American Silver Eagle more expensive than others? ... he responded quickly again, (although I did not put any time limit on a response or any pressure for an immediate answer... it was more important to me to *get* an answer -and a correct one- than to get one quickly), but this time he passed me off to a Genia asking me to *call* because "It will be a lot easier to do over the phone." Not for me! Well, my mom came over the holidays... I talked to her about putting some money into gold or silver and just as I thought, she had questions. If I had emails in writing (not a "FAQ") showing her that I had already asked these questions -and- not only got my questions answered, professionally, I think she would have done it. If not then, after I received my shipment safely. Now she's home alone (in another state) and I just don't think she'll do it or ask for help on how to go about doing it... just too scary for her. For that, I am very disappointed.

They did fine just don't wait to late if ordering as gifts as I missed 1 birthday.

Very reputable. Only complaint is that they should communicate better so you know where you are in the process and when to expect your order .
