Test purchase!
I am new to bullion investing and this was a test purchase (one of 3) to establish which company provided the best service. G & S was one of three. Each was a pittance purchase and my thinking was that if I got good service on what I considered a nuisance I would do well with a more substantial investment. My credit card purchase was on March 4th and I received the silver on the 8th. G & S was the most expensive of the 3 orders but this was mainly due to most of the order being from government minting vs. privately minted rounds. G & S did have shipping charges while one company was free even with the small purchase. G & O also charged $4.95 for what I thought was a requirement for my signature upon delivery. The order was left in my mailbox so I have no idea what that charge was for. Over all I was pleased with the service and I will use the company again when they advertised special offerings.

Donald, Thanks for your business and for the review. The Postal service should not have left your package in the mailbox. Unfortunately we paid for signature restricted delivery on that package which is expensive, and the Post Office did not execute their job properly. Satisfied with the service
After some fits and starts, like not reaslly being able to 1) set up an account and 2) place an order on line, the process was in the end reliable and satisfactory. When i called in, the rep was helpful, but the process was a bit lengthy.

Good service
Service was good and the prices were competitive. Took a long time to get though...they were probably out and wasn't their fault. would buy from them again.

Gary, You are correct, you ordered silver eagles that were back ordered. All back ordered items are marked on the site with red ship dates. Our allocations are shipped as soon as they arrive from the mint. Otherwise we ship the day funds clear. Look forward to serving you again. Thanks, Eric

NEAT TRICK ON SHIPPING:
I did NOT care for the surcharge for using a credit card. I used a credit card to be sure the product was for real--I'm a first time customer of this site. But I was very satisfied with the results and will purchase again from this site. I especially liked the disguised packaging label so no one knew its contents--not even the mailperson, who was surprised that the delivery required MY signature for what appeared to be a repair part.
