Dear goLancers, We've always been the good guys of the freelance industry who treated win-win solutions as their top priority. We embrace and welcome any kind of constructive criticism that can help us improve the quality of our services. However, in this particular case, you should hear the other side of this review's story, its motivations and intentions. We found ourselves in the middle of financial disputes between the reviewer and his ex-wife. The reviewer tried to manipulate our system and by doing so, he clearly violated our Terms of Service. We made attempts to return the funds via ACH, only to be later notified that the ACH had been rejected by the bank through a dispute. We tried to report this review for defamation reasons. Trustpilot team informed us about their new policy on focusing on the "context" rather than the "keywords." The reviewer used the variations of the word "scam" three times in his review that was put back online. Normally, we would say we're sorry our user had a bad experience and we'd do our very best to try to work it out. At the same time, we can't and won't allow to be extorted, defrauded or manipulated in any way and circumstances.
