What the heck is wrong with this company? I read the reviews AFTER I ordered a 36 piece box of Godiva. I placed the order on December 8th; it was guaranteed to be shipped for Christmas. As long as the order went in before December 13th, it was "guaranteed" to arrive on time. It NEVER ARRIVED. Today is December 19. I never heard anything from them. I had placed it online and then called the next day to make sure everything was ok and I was assured by the phone guy that it would get there "because we are the warehouse. If you order from a local store, there is no guarantee of delivery on time. And the chocolates will actually be fresher ordering from us." He said everything was fine and it should arrive in about four days. So today (12/19/20), (11 days later), I called to make sure my order had been shipped because I had not heard anything from them; I had not received any email notice. (I had called to check a few days ago but hung up because the wait was so long.) Today, I waited 20 minutes before anyone picked up the phone. Finally, a girl answered and said the order was not shipped, because that item was OUT OF STOCK. I told her it was NOT out of stock when I ordered. I had enough time. I was TOLD by the person in the WAREHOUSE it would arrive on time. No problemo. I asked when her when they would receive it. Ummm. She didn't know. She didn't know when it would be back in stock. I asked if it would be before the new year. She could not guarantee anything. "It's hard to tell." She asked me (sweetly) if I wanted to cancel the order. I cancelled the order and will never, in my life, order Godiva anything. Someone on the website warned others to STAY AWAY FROM GODIVA. I urge you to do the same. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STUPID COMPANY. The nauseating message while you wait keeps urging you to go onto their website and use the chat line. THERE IS NO CHAT LINE. She told me to "have a good day". OH SURE, AFTER YOUR OBNOXIOUS COMPANY JUST SPOILED IT. Good riddance! STAY AWAY FROM GODIVA. There are chocolates that are even better than God-Iva. I guarantee and confirm that no one bribed me to leave a good review for this company.

Ridiculous. I placed several orders on Nov. 16th. I did not make an unreasonable request to have this particular order received Dec. 18 or before. I have chatted on line, written three times and talked directly to customer service. No guarantee this will reach intended party before xmas. So annoyed. I wish I had read the reviews prior to placing the order. NEVER again. I will try See’s Candy next time for my holiday gift buying.

Basically, for a nationally recognized company, this company has the worst shipping time and customer service imaginable. After five days, I still had no tracking number. Customer service tried to blame the shipping carriers. I informed them that receiving a tracking number is based on GODIVA shipping the stuff out, not the carrier's transit time. Anyone who has ever shipped a package knows this. Then they apologized, but told me I still wouldn't have a tracking number for another 3 days, AND they couldn't expedite shipping method, AND it wouldn't arrive before Christmas (it was a gift -- of a Christmas chocolate gift box!!!). I literally received customized, one-off items faster. I just ended up canceling my order. Won't order from them again. Good chocolate, horrendous service. Lesson learned.

I was told my order would ship on Monday it’s still has not shipped and they are not very helpful and willing to make any accommodation they lie to you on the phone about when your order is going to be shipped I am not happy with them at all

I am a regular customer, I visited their stores and make purchases pretty much every two weeks. Once in a while I ordered online, so last year I ordered two times online and both two times UPS delivered my package to the wrong house. I contacted Godiva get me a replacement order and they refused. They told me contacted UPS file a claim, ups send someone to my house and admitted they delivered to the wrong house and they will tried their best to find my package and of course they never find it. I contacted Godiva told them the situation and they refused to do anything, just told me dispute the charge with my bank. This year due to pandemic I can’t go to the store, I ordered from their wedsite again , and they canceled my order because they says they will not ship anything to my house anymore. Very disappointed !

Godiva is a BIG SCAM and has the POOREST and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE which you wouldn't expect from a big company like this. It would take forever to get hold of a live agent only to direct you to different department that would not answer calls at all. Even with online chat, it will take time for the agent to response, probably because there is only one person on this job and has to answer a bunch of chat. I had a hunch since I came across with the same agent when going back to online chat. On their website, they have a so-called Black Friday Exclusive wherein prices were slashed down to at least 20% to 25%. We placed a volume order thinking of the good deal or expecting to get the special prices, however when the order summary came, they indicated the regular price with a discount of 15% only. We called in and told them that we prefer to have the website pricing which is a better deal but was told that they cannot make adjustments anymore because we were already given the 15% discount. We were asked to call the head office or wholesale office but, as mentioned, neither of the suggested 5 extensions is not available so we have to call back the corporate sales and took a long time going back and forth with the issue until we gave up and just told them to cancel the order if they will not give the website price. And just to cancel the order took another long time. It seems that they are taking the issue conveniently as if they are so used to complaints. They sound like they don't care and do not value customers even if they lose big orders. Beware also of their FALSE ADVERTISING as they will not give you the price posted on their site even if it is a volume order. Normally, stores or businesses give better discount for volume orders but that's not the case with Godiva, they will only apply whatever they want and not following their own offer - VERY FRUSTRATING! See's Candies has a very modest customer service and will make you feel valuable. Additionally, they do no charge shipping cost specially on big orders. We just want to try Godiva this time, but with this traumatic experience, this will be the first and last time we are going to make transaction with Godiva....will go back to See's.

I have been charged 3 times for 1 item. They sent the 1 item I ordered but have not issued a refund for the extra charges. I have had no response over email and no one is answering the phone. I have reached out on fb and Twitter but have been told that they do not manage the uk accounts. I cannot believe there is no one who can help me. This is one of the worst cases of customer service I have seen. If someone could get back to me on here that would be appreciated. But I expect to be ignored here too. How businesses can get away with this I don’t know!

It will arrive late. Ordered two weeks before Halloween. They mailed the package November 2nd
