Hi Amy, We’re sorry you’re frustrated, but we should clarify a few important points. The delays you’re referencing are part of a broader GLP-1 industry disruption affecting pharmacies nationwide, following recent 503B production changes, meaning several of the largest 503b compounding pharmacies are no longer compounding GLP-1s. This is not unique to GobyMeds, and it is not a matter of us “taking your money” and ignoring your order. Your order was placed into processing, but pharmacy backlogs have extended fulfillment times across the board.

Hey Jennifer, I can assure you that we did not "steal your money". Leaving multiple messages can slow down an actual response from our care team. You can check the the progress of your prescription in your patient dashboard by clicking on the orders tab.

Hey Audrey, it seems like you had opened up multiple tickets with us which our care team and providers did reach back out and communicate with you throughout your process. We also want to acknowledge that we have had a massive influx of orders, which has made our response times a little bit slower than usual. A care team member usually responds within 24 hours. Our customer service experience is something that we pride ourselves on, so we apologize if you had a less than great experience. As for your pending charge, we do not collect payment until your prescription has been prescribed and in this case, as you said, you were denied. The temporary hold is usually released within a day or so. We release it immediately, but the hold is often cleared by your bank. We wish you the best of luck on your weight loss journey.

However, we have mentioned in our response that our customer support is currently experiencing higher volumes than normal and are working through our message queue. We understand why this can be concerning, but in most cases your medication is still safe to use. Your shipment does not need to arrive cold to the touch. Ice packs are included to help limit heat exposure during transit, but they may be melted by the time your package arrives. A melted or warm ice pack does not mean your medication has been compromised and is expected. Our partner pharmacies test their medications to ensure tolerance of normal shipping conditions, including exposure to elevated temperatures. Once received, please place your medication in the refrigerator and continue following your prescribed treatment plan. If your medication arrived damaged, leaking, discolored, visibly contaminated, or was exposed to extreme heat for an extended period, please contact our support team and include photos if possible.

Hey Patti, the ice pack is expected to melt and your medications are perfectly safe to use. Our pharmacies add ice packs as a courtesy. Please feel free to reach out to our customer support team if we can help out in any way or answer any other questions.
