Hi there, Just want to take some time to add some more context and information. If your dose was changed to a lower one, more than likely this is due to swapping medications. Often times, providers will have an equivalent dosage to another medication. This can be swapping from compounded Tirzepatide to compounded Semaglutide or vice versa. This is done primarily to make sure your body doesn't have an adverse reaction to the medication. Every person is different, as some people can have bad reactions when swapping from one medication to another. In short this is done for your safety as a patient at the doctor's discretion. You are more than welcome to take this up with the provider if you feel you should be on a higher dose after starting your new medication. We are always here to help as needed, but ultimately this is done based off of the medical provider's discretion.
