I passed Phase 1, completed the required trading days, and finished my KYC verification, but I still haven’t received my Phase 2 account. Support response was slow and the process took longer than expected. I hope they improve communication and account processing speed in the future.

# My Honest Experience with Goat Funded…
# My Honest Experience with Goat Funded Trader's Trailing Drawdown Rule
I am sharing this review to help other traders fully understand the drawdown system before purchasing an account.
First, I want to be clear that my account was failed according to the company's stated rules. This review is not about accusing the company of breaking its own rules. My purpose is to explain why I personally found the trailing drawdown model extremely difficult and potentially confusing for many traders, especially beginners.
## What Happened
I purchased a Goat Funded Trader account and started trading normally. As my trading progressed, the account moved into profit. Like many traders, I believed that making profits would create a larger safety buffer.
However, I later discovered that under the trailing drawdown model, reaching a higher equity level also moves the drawdown threshold upward.
This means that previous profits can later reduce your available drawdown room.
Eventually, my account failed even though the situation felt very different from a traditional static drawdown model.
## Why This Rule Can Be Difficult
Many traders think:
* Profit increases safety.
* Higher account equity means more breathing room.
* After making money, the account should become harder to fail.
With a trailing drawdown system, that is not always how it works.
As your account reaches new highs, the drawdown threshold follows those highs.
For example:
* Account grows.
* Equity reaches a new peak.
* Drawdown limit rises.
* A later market reversal can trigger failure even after a profitable period.
For traders who use swing trading, recovery systems, Gold trading, or strategies with temporary equity fluctuations, this can become very challenging.
## Support Response
After contacting support, I received confirmation that:
* The drawdown is trailing.
* Previously reached floating or realized profits can affect the drawdown threshold later.
* The system is working as designed.
I appreciate that support responded professionally and explained the rule clearly.
## My Personal Opinion
In my opinion, this type of drawdown model is not ideal for newer traders.
The reason is simple:
A trader may feel successful after growing the account, but later discover that those same profits have effectively moved the risk line higher.
Psychologically, this is difficult because many traders naturally view profits as protection rather than as a moving benchmark.
## What Future Customers Should Know
Before purchasing any funded account, carefully check:
1. Is the drawdown static or trailing?
2. Is it based on balance or equity?
3. Does the drawdown move upward when equity reaches new highs?
4. Are floating profits included in the calculation?
5. How much room remains after a profitable day?
Do not assume that all funded firms use the same rules.
## My Advice to New Traders
Read every drawdown rule carefully before purchasing.
Do not focus only on:
* Profit targets
* Payout percentages
* Account size
* Challenge price
The drawdown model is often more important than all of those factors.
A company may be completely legitimate while still offering rules that do not fit your trading style.
## Final Thoughts
This review reflects my personal experience.
I respect Goat Funded Trader's right to operate its chosen account model, but I personally found the trailing drawdown structure too restrictive for my style of trading.
I hope this review helps future traders understand exactly how trailing drawdown works before investing their time and money.
Trade safely, understand the rules completely, and always know where your true risk limit is.

The company operates a clandestine…
The company operates a clandestine business such that it's not clearly displayed in their payments that they won't refund if services aren't used and on demand by user for dissatisfaction purposes.
I advise you don't do any business with this company

They are just here to scam people
They are just here to scam people. Whenever someone applies for payout, they just breach their account.
Absolutely worst experience I’ve had with any prop firm.
Goat Funded is completely misleading customers with their checkout system. They automatically apply a “discount” coupon (like Easter50) on the payment page, and there is literally NO option to remove it. Then after payment, they claim no coupon was applied. How can you deny something that is forced by default and cannot even be removed? This is either a broken system or a deliberate trap. I've Proof of everything.
On top of that, their website is full of glitches. Pages lag, pricing behaves inconsistently, and the checkout flow is clearly unreliable. You can’t run a financial service platform like this and expect users to trust you with their money.
I saw the final price before placing the order, and I’m not stupid enough to willingly pay double. The issue is clearly on their end, yet they refuse to take responsibility.
Support is useless — just copy-paste replies with no real effort to understand or resolve the issue. They completely ignore the core problem and try to redirect the conversation instead of fixing it.
This is not a professional company. It’s careless at best and deceptive at worst.
Stay far away from Goat Funded if you don’t want unnecessary stress and risk losing your money.
