I had a bitter experience with Proctor U. The proctor ceased my exam stating that I did not maintain the camera view. But as a student, like a video call, you don't have any option to see your camera view. Additionally, she (the proctor) could've informed me and given a warning. The way of conducting was so poor, the proctor interchanged once, and the noise from the proctor's ambiance disturbed me as well. However, I accepted those distractions. Finally, without warning (for not maintaining the camera view), they ceased my exam which was very important to me.

This company is awful, they are as rude as possible, made my exam 10x more stressful, started making changes to my computer settings with no discussions or permission requested. Stated that a standing desk is not professional or acceptable, so I had to then use my toddlers child desk and chair with knees up to my shoulders as only way to sit in my study for exam. Appalling service from start to finish and there was no customer service or pleasantries, I was ignored but expected to answer questions immediately, any time I said I didn’t understand could you explain I was asked the same question word for word but louder. This company is awful. Stay away and use anyone else!!

The only way they can improve is stay off the web.I tried to get to my exams and for 8 days they cut be off each time. They last time I logged on it was 2.5 hrs. trying to get a proctor. They said at first my speed was to slow and I said no way. I changed to a higher speed internet when I said that when they told me my camera was not working again I called BS now they said it was ok then they said my speaker had something wrong and then it started workin. This was the third computer and this one was brand new. I had a computer person check it out after I bought it and everything was to spec I told them. after 2.5 they told me to start exam. The exam came up and said exam over because of time limit. And this was my last chance so the company fired me. Because I had only so many days to take exams. I hope no one has to go thru something like this. So they cut me off and fogot to release my computer. So I had to do a hard shut down.

support and help desk technicians are useless and rude. They don't even know what they're talking about and two of them ended the call without even saying anything

What went wrong everything - I was already stressed about the exam but it took forever for me to take my exam. It was very frustrating, I will never take another online exam w/ proctorU again

Just a disaster could not get anything to work properly. I've taken proctored exams with other companies and never had any issues until today. Now I need to go back to the collage and beg them to let me do the exam again. I could net even start the exam their plugin just crashed everything. (Using new equipment)

I signed in to take my exam at the designated time. The technician took control of my system and made all the changes required to take the exam. The technician then said they were having issues and transferred me to another technician that informed me my system was operating fine for the exam. I was then transferred back to the original technician that proceeded to just open tabs and do nothing before ending the session. Now I'm to reschedule at a cost of $99. Also, there is the fact that you have foreign proctors recording your voice, image, and ID. Now they say information is safe but would you be able to blame someone for stealing your identity if they're making $10 a day.

It’s an absolute joke. One day it works after a bit of fiddling around and then it chooses not to work the next day. This company should not be appointed for exam business! The instructions are useless as it does not correspond to reality.
