I’ve used this service to take tests a few times over the past few months and honestly I didn’t have too much trouble. Unfortunately I had to take one recently and it was easily such a bad experience that I don’t intend on using the service again. I’ve used the same computer to take all the previous tests on, I checked the computer through their pre check and it was doing fine. I try to take the test and it took a noticeably longer time than before for the proctor to get with me. Did all the pre check stuff showing my room and she went through her script, said something incoherent and just “hung up” on me. I didn’t know what to do so I kept waiting then she messages me through the chat box asking if I should be transferred to tech support. I asked a question in the chat box, she didn’t respond then just transferred me. I asked the tech support a question, they ignored me and asked to reset my computer. I just complied, a reset later, and I’m back to the previous tech and asked again. Only for her to finally say that the script wouldn’t run on my computer that didn’t have problems with previous tests. With all the waiting around this entire process took around an hour and was a waste of time as I ended up not taking my test. Straight up, use anything else because this was ridiculous.

Absolutely useless, the person paused my exam, and asked me to show the room, afterwards come into my browser and freeze my laptop, and she wanted to restart my laptop but I even wasn’t able to write and sent messages to her or to talk, absolutely disgusting and awful, very very disappointed, she come into my laptop and destroyed everything and freeze my laptop. Need to change the agents!

Awful. I went through all the scheduling processes etc, waited for my arbitrary exam session to start, just to learn that because I'm on a work laptop, the permissions for proctor U to access my device dont exist. There's no support for issues like this so now im just screwed.

If I could give this less than one star to leave a review, I would. This "education tool" has been the reason for multiple students missing their final exam windows DAYS before the exam cuts off. Horrible user interface and congested technical issues. Extremely disappointed and do not recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely useless! There are no clear instructions on where to go once logged in, the pop-up windows that are supposed to launch don't actually open, the staff are hopeless - just advise to restart your computer so they can end the chat session so you become someone else's problem when you log in again. Just total nightmare and more stress than necessary! After two hours of trying and 21 different consultants I officially gave up trying to complete my exam.

This was torture. My test was supposed to start at 9:50. It started at 12pm. A two hour test turned into a 4 hour torture session. They should be banned.

Giant waste of time. software struggles to work on any network.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had to use this program for the first time this past semester. I hated it. For starters we had to pay for every test. I was in 3 classes and had an exam every 3 weeks. Their moderators are so slow when checking my computer. It takes them at least ten minutes to do this. So I basically have to sit there for ten minutes anxiously before my test. They always want to see the whole room and on top of that I have two take two picture, 2 of my face and 2 of my id. It is so redundant. I hope my school changes the proctor company they use because I hate this one.
