Has potential, but not worth at as it stands at the moment.
Has potential, but needs a lot of work and actual customer support, not a bunch of people familiar with computers sitting in a chatroom being sarcastic and getting snarky when they either can't easily figure out your problem or you aren't a software genius yourself. As for the bot itself, when it worked for the first two months, it did about 60% of what it claimed to do. It didnt use all troop production buildings, it didn't claim any mail rewards at all, and Id say about 20% of the time it camped troops instead of hitting resource tiles. It did have about a 80% resource collection rate in the base however. The trading resources by bookmark did not work either. With the mail and bookmarks, it wasn't a case of it not finding it, it simply did not work at all. Yes, I am well aware of the adjustments you can make, but after tech support getting snarky, I spent 3 weeks of trial and error. I dont think I should need to increase or decrease a numerical recognition value that long to get it to do what it is supposed to do. The User Interface for War Z is clearly not updated to be meant specifically for that game as some of the names and functions do not make sense. Also, the online user manual provided for War Z, isn't even for that game! In fact there are two options for Base Management and one is labelled old! I wasn't given a specific answer as to which one to use other than - Which one is better for you? I dont know the answer to that because they both have functions that I need, so Im not sure why they arent combined into one tab? Tech was very helpful when it was an issue they clearly understood. However when it was something they didnt have a straight answer for, or felt you werent explaining well enough - thats when the snark begin. Also, tech support is not familiar with each bot function, the games they use or future updates. The webmaster I spoke to wasn't familiar with all functions of the bot and would usually respond by saying - "What does the bot list say?" That doesn't help when a bot button says "Collect All" - Collect all what? He also wasnt aware either way if their was a wall repair or when any future updates would happen. I was told one time, "right around the corner", and that was 2 months ago. I am familiar with using bots and familiar with computer software, however I cannot be familiar with a bot that Im just using because it's new to me so of course I am going to need help. I see people saying if you arent an expert then you shouldnt be using this. I would assume Goodnightbots wants as many customers as possible, even novices, and not just computer experts. Money is money regardless of who it comes from. Finally I had been working with the bot for 3 months, and then with the last bot update Norton started blocking it. A Norton rep worked for 2 hours manually unblocking and reinstalling the game/bot. We tackled each issue step by step. My key needed to be reset several times during the process as we worked out all the bugs. Now, I need one final reset, and the advice I am being given is - "Man I told you Norton will block it no matter what. You need to uninstall it." If this bot is so incompatible with Norton, even though I ran it for nearly 3 months, then why not have that on your main page? I find it unbelievable that hitting a license reset is too much trouble when a Norton rep has been online with me for over two hours. Also telling someone to uninstall their antivirus is utterly insane. Overall I am disappointed because the pricing is decent, but when weighted against poor customer support, a lack of updates for features and an "unfinished" feel with no definite answers for updates - it simply isn't worth it. For any one in the comments section that claims it "works like charm", I would like to have at least 3 of you post Youtube videos showing the bot doing the following accurately and consistently when playing War Z: 1- Gathering All Base Resources 2 - Collecting all in game Mail Rewards 3 - Recognizing all troop builder buildings, loading troops in the que and then actually clicking the buildings once the troops are ready. 4 - Actually complete wall repair.
