Though we like the way the interface is for our members, it is absolutely AWFUL to use. The way it syncs to quickbooks is jagged and painful, making us switch our entire invoicing system and not allowing bundled items, having to switch from accrual to cash because it cannot recognize voids or credits to an account. Customer service is absolute garbage. You are bounced from person to person and nobody knows a single thing about quickbooks to help properly sync accounting. They get rude when you keep bugging them because they haven't fixed the problem you addressed 6 weeks prior. If I could go back, I would never choose this for our company, as it has caused staff to quit, members to flee, and the sanity of everyone.

GlueUp has genuinely transformed how I manage relationships with downtown business owners. The platform is remarkably user friendly and cost effective, especially valuable for someone running what amounts to a department of one. But what stood out most was the onboarding and training, walking me through implementation step by step, and a customer service team that was always easy to reach whenever I had questions. I'd happily recommend it to any small team or solo operator looking for a CRM that doesn't require a huge learning curve or a huge budget.

While the product is par, the customer service and technical support are atrocious. When I signed up, I needed and paid for onboarding service. The onboarding staff assigned to me at some point (within a day/two) was no longer with the company, and someone did not replace that person until I pointed it out and a week had passed. We had multiple issues with recurring payments, and the customer support team did not know their own product well enough to be able to tell us how to address this issue. Our team figured it out by tinkering with the functions. Most recently, we PURCHASED api access, and after 9 days crickets. Everyone can make up their own minds, but my strong recommendation is to stay away from this company and platform!

We had been with the same membership software for years and it became antiquated. Searched for something new, did the research and recommended GlueUp. Data migration was a chore but relatively easy. We launched and so far I am very impressed with the product. Lets face it, nobody loves learning new software but Gene Chamblin, trainer extraordinare along with Irving Kier made it a smooth transition. Their patience throughout the process was phenominal and they always got back to me when I had questions. Outstanding experience!

I had high hopes for Glue Up and genuinely believe it could be a great tool — if it worked as promised. Our organization selected Glue Up specifically because it integrated with Cvent, our event platform. When Cvent announced it would sunset its membership platform, we began searching for a replacement. After narrowing down nearly thirty options to three, we chose Glue Up based on reviews and the assurance that it would sync seamlessly with Cvent. We began training in December. Several required sessions were canceled due to the holidays, and the gap from January to March was on us because of a major conference. When we resumed, the platform setup, membership configuration, and website training all went smoothly. We went live with our membership platform on May 15th. Unfortunately, by mid‑June, I discovered that Glue Up was not syncing with Cvent. Several new or renewing members were not recognized in Cvent, resulting in incorrect pricing or duplicate membership purchases — forcing us to issue refunds. Support has been working on the issue for two weeks with no resolution. What has been most disappointing is the lack of proactive communication. I copied my account manager, sales representative, and two implementation team members on my support emails, yet no one reached out to assist or even acknowledge the issue. To make matters more complicated, Glue Up went through a reorganization the week after we went live. Our Customer Success Advisor — whom I spoke with once — was suddenly gone, along with our assigned account manager. I received no notice for six days until a new account manager finally contacted me, and only after I questioned a generic email announcing the change. We were also informed that we no longer have a Customer Success Advisor and must send all questions through support. Glue Up has potential, and the interface is strong, but the integration failures, slow resolution, and communication gaps have made it difficult to trust the platform. I hope these issues are addressed soon, because the concept is solid — the execution simply hasn’t met expectations.

The information, training, and implementation meetings were very helpful in preparing the transition to GlueUp. The team provided support and solutions for our specific needs. We requested a quick transition and they helped make that possible.
