I ordered this because I loved the slightly warm colour in the photos. In person it's a little darker, which caught me off guard at first. Once I'd moved it into the room, though, it actually worked better than I thought it would. Lost a star purely for the difference.

Hi Bethany, thank you for your kind words. We are happy you liked it nonetheless.

They don’t have a warehouse in the U.S. and ship straight from China. That took 8 weeks for one of the lights to then arrive broken!!!
Response from Glowing NomadOct 12, 2026
Hi Kristina, I can see that the light that broke we have dispatched a replacement for. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to you receiving it - intact this time!

DO NOT USE! I unfortunately only looked at these reviews after my light fixture arrived and I had a similarly terrible experience. The light fixture came in a thousand pieces without an instruction manual on how to install and everything about it looks cheaply made. On top of that, the return process either makes you ship the return to New Zealand and pay for shipping or only gives you a 15% refund. Edit: to be clear, none of the parts were broken but the light came with hundreds of different pieces, down to minute electrical components, that need to be assembled without any sort of manual on how to do it. This, on top of looking cheap, is why we tried to return before running into the issue above

Hi Matt, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. If your item arrived broken in pieces, we would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve this for you, as we offer solutions beyond a small discount when an item arrives damaged. Unfortunately, we weren’t made aware that the item had arrived in this condition, so we weren’t given the opportunity to properly address the issue. Please feel free to reach out to us directly, and we’ll be happy to see what we can do if it is broken.

Seems like this company must have some good products and some trash products and it’s a luck of the draw. Unfortunately, the product I ordered was as others have described - advertised as “ceramic, glass and metal” but is actually almost entirely made of plastic. It even came with a chinese sticker so clearly this is a cheap Chinese piece of crap that is sold as a high quality item. Update: After some back and forth, they agreed to refund my purchase in full without any hassle.

Hi Pam, Thank you for your patience, and we're sorry for the confusion. There was an error on our website which we sincerely apologise for. To clarify, our earlier message wasn't meant to sound like we were scolding you, we were simply trying to explain how we planned to resolve your case. Unfortunately, a dispute was filed before we had the chance to do so. We'd love the opportunity to make things right for you in the future.

I received a vanity light that had a scratch on the glass so I emailed about it and they sent a replacement that turned up about a week later. The rest of the order (mirror + the other lights) was packed properly and matched the listing. Two weeks to arrive initially. Happy with how it ended up.

Hi Logan, thanks for your review. We are glad we were able to sort the issue out quickly!

I ordered a table lamp from Glowing Nomad and I'm so impressed with the entire experience. The website made it easy to find exactly what I was looking for, and shipping was fast and free. When the lamp arrived, the packaging was secure and the quality exceeded my expectations. It gives off the warmest, most beautiful vibes in my living room. It's become a real conversation piece whenever we have guests over. I also love that they offer 30-day returns, which made me feel confident about ordering online. I'll definitely be coming back for more pieces. Highly recommend!
