I travel a tremendous amount for my work (I drive trucks long haul throughout the United States, and I also work seasonal gigs as a Merchant Marine officer - both of which take me to some pretty unusual locations). I tried Globlinker after years of being a loyal Skyroam AKA Solis customer. What drew me to Globlinker was their easy to reach, HUMAN customer support; they have a human respond to inquiries and the person really makes every reasonable effort to help. Their prices are also quite fair for this type of service, and I have found their coverage to be quite good; let me be clear - this is NOT satellite service, so there have been some areas where the coverage was weak or non-existent simply because there are no mobile telephony towers nearby. But in all the areas where mobile telephony towers do exist, I have had fairly good, reliable coverage. Moreover, we have been able to conduct video conferences through this mobile modem that we could simply not sustain via Starlink (said differently, the uplink speeds on Globlinker are quite good).

I’ve used this portable WiFi device for about three months, and it has worked great for me. I tested it at two business events, at work, and at my house. I worked at events in a rural part of Florida with a very weak phone signal, but this device gave me full bars. It was easy to connect my Shopify POS system, my phone, and my friend’s phone. My friend couldn’t upload a social media post before, but once he connected to this device, it uploaded right away. It works with Android, iPhone, and Shopify devices with no problems. Paying for data is simple. I bought more data than I needed, and the service time ran out before I used it all. I thought the leftover data was gone, but the company told me they would give it back next time as a kind gesture. Their customer service is very friendly and quick to help. One thing to know is that the device can get pretty hot if it’s in the sun or in a warm place. I kept it in the shade and used a small fan to help cool it down, and it worked fine. Just try not to leave it in direct sunlight. Overall, this is a great device for travel, events, and places with weak signal.

I bought both Globlinker and Ryoko to evaluate both. They both had a money-back satisfaction guarantee so I figured I'd return the one I didn't want. Speeds were comparable most times I did a speed test (one test in Albuquerque GL came out well ahead) and GL has a much better usage plan for low use people like me, monthly cost is zero in the US and it will hook to any service it can find. The response of GL tech support has been great too. So I decided to return the Ryoko. And I discovered that Ryoko has a "non-returnable" return policy. If you use it at all like to evaluate it, you can't return it. It's in the fine print. It never dawned on me that they would lack the integrity to have a real return policy. And another thing about hotspots in general, if you want internet connectivity on say an iPad, it's cheaper to buy a wifi-only iPad and a hotspot than to buy the iPad with the cellular option because you have to pay for cellular service on top of that. With GL for low use, you don't have to pay anything beyond the device. And GL will hook up to whatever service it finds. And it works all over the world, and you can hook your laptop to it as well.

I purchased my Globelinker Cloud portable Wi-Fi for travel about 2 months ago. This thing is fantastic. I use it to link my DMR radio to the internet. It will connect to all three of the major cellular Networks, T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T. I can connect my DMR hotspot to this device and I can talk to anywhere from anywhere. I don't have to rely on using data from my phone or being tied down to only using the service from my phone which is T-Mobile. Customer service is unbelievable you can contact them either by phone or email. Most times they respond within just a very few minutes at any time of day. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. But DMR radio isn't the only thing it can be used for, anything that needs connected to the internet can be run through this thing. It is worth every penny, especially if you are going to be away from the house. The data packages that you need to get are extremely affordable, there is a screen on the front of it that let you know how much data you have left. That way you never run out of data

Works better than my WiFi

The product has worked without fail during my 3+ months traveling abroad. Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Sardina, Sicily and Turkey. Support has been wonderful. The support team responded to me very quickly and they followed up with me a few times after to ensure I was still not having any problems. Prompt, kind and supportive. I am an avid traveler and would recommend this product to anyone and everyone 5 STARS!!!☆☆☆☆☆

Be advised that I am a new customer from Globlinker, I purchased one and time they also gave me 10gb free… this company every time I send emails they respond quickly and I start using the Globlinker and my vpn notification warned me that Globlinker started working and when I shut it off so the Globlinker worked perfectly quick response and fast communication I going to Puerto Rico in 7 months and I going to test the system to see how well works in United States work perfectly is good for camping and to use in a hotel that why a purchase Globlinker when I come back I will post my review again I especially will send an email to the Globlinker company to the person that always answer my emails they always answer to my emails so in United States it’s a good buy Thank you Globlinker!!!

I bought the globlinker mifi device for an international trip to West Africa. The setup with instructions was very easy and seamless. I had a question about whether a 2nd data package I bought would activate concurrently with the old one or would activate after the old one was completed and a customer service rep by name of "Charlie" not only responded with lightning speed but also answered my question thoroughly. The most impressive thing about this company really is the customer service aside from the excellent mifi device. I was awarded a free 10gb USA plan as a thank you and when I asked Charlie if he could convert that to a plan I could use in West Africa, he made an exception to their rule and provided that for me within 30 min and it really helped our family out a lot considering we have a little one who always needs the internet to keep her distracted. Thank you globlinker for a great device, awesome service options but more importantly very dedicated, polite, professional and courteous customer service agents like Charlie
