I was initially impressed by Global Work AI's marketing. Their website states that you only need to upload your resume once because their AI uses it to understand your experience and job preferences. They also promise to provide curated job matches tailored to your background, rather than irrelevant mass listings. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I uploaded my resume, completed my profile, selected my preferences, and used their filters to exclude industries where I have no experience. Despite that, I received recommendations for software development, healthcare, finance, and IT positions—roles that clearly do not match my background or the preferences I selected. I contacted customer support twice to explain the issue. Both times I received essentially the same response: "Let us know what kind of job you're looking for, and we will check available vacancies for you." This was particularly frustrating because their website explicitly states that their AI understands your experience and preferences based on your resume and profile. If that's true, why am I being asked to manually explain what kind of job I'm looking for? It left me with the impression that my resume, profile, and selected filters were either not being used or were not being used effectively. I understand that AI-powered matching isn't perfect, but if a service advertises personalized job matching based on your resume and preferences, I think it's reasonable to expect those features to work as described. I hope they improve their matching system because the concept has a lot of potential. Based on my experience, however, it did not deliver on the promises made on the website.

I signed up for a month long subscription, but no where in the sign up process or in the tool itself did it say that there was a cap on how many applications you could send in a month. It is only 100 applications by the way before you run out. So one day it just stopped working with zero indication as to why. Eventually I was able to figure out why, but now I have a useless platform for the next 27ish days where I cannot apply to any jobs. If anything it is actually causing issues because it relaced my normal email with their email that only goes to their platform. Then when I complained to Customer Service team about it they said they were launching a beta to let you buy more credits sometime soon. Do not buy, not worth it.

Since April 2026, Global Work AI has been charging me $49.99 per month for a service that I didn't even know existed until I saw the charge on a recent bank statement. Initially I thought I'd probably made a donation to some sort of relief fund in a low-income country, but upon further inspection, I learned that it was essentially the yachting version of INDEED. Assuming the charge on my account was the result of an error, I reached out to Global Work AI to request a refund. I received an email response almost immediately from an agent who declined my request for a refund and encouraged me to click on a link to the company's "Money Back Policy". Brushing aside the fact that the charge was unauthorized, I clicked on the link. The policy, published by "Expert Remote, Inc" stated: " You must provide proof that you adhered to the platform's rules as outlined in the section titled “Demonstrating Adherence to Platform Rules” which require subscribers to submit screenshots from the Global Work AI platform showing that they have applied to: 1) at least 100 jobs over at least 14 consecutive days (for monthly and longer subscriptions); 2) at least 50 jobs over at least 4 consecutive days (for weekly and biweekly subscriptions). Incredulous, yes? Since I hadn't subscribed, I certainly hadn't adhered to the platform rules, so I began searching for a customer service contact. Since the policy was published by "Expert Remote", I started there. As it turned out, there were emails in my spam folder regarding my "membership". In fact, the company charged me $25.00 in April 2026, with subsequent monthly charges in the amount of $49.99 in May, June, and July 2026. Confused by the dual identities of this company and wondering which one could actually issue a refund, I dug a little deeper. Apparently, Expert Remote had been rebranded as Global Work AI--the latest and greatest pivot by CEO Alex Chepovoi--a self proclaimed "serial entrepreneur"-- to salvage a failed b2b business with a D+ rating and little curb appeal. So where does that leave me? Begging. And frustrated. The most charitable assumption I can manage is that I clicked on an ad or a third party marketing survey or some sort of sign up flow with a pre-checked box which enrolled me in a "1-month renewable membership" to Global Work AI. Is it legal? Probably. Should it be? Probably not. My guess is that the company has a formula for the number of months they can collect fees before "members" realize they are paying for a subscription they didn't know existed. At the end of the day, Global Work AI and others like them will shatter consumer confidence in AI products, burning through capital that could and should be used to develop business solutions that protect user data, facilitate actual innovation, and provide users and investors with reliable strategies that are scalable by design.

I have not been satisfied with the quality of jobs shown, some of them never reach out or I can't find much information on them. I went to cancel my subscription and thought that it was canceled - in fact it was not. I cannot find their email anywhere to request a refund. I then went to cancel and they offer a 50% off, then 60% and then a third screen to "make sure" that you actually want to cancel. A very frustrating process. Feels like a vibe coded AI money grab rather than an actual website unfortunately - I was really excited about it at first and wish it would have worked.

Terrible experience they say they will apply for you but they only send emails and most of the companies send you an email back saying please apply on our platform. Then they charged me again for a second month when I had canceled and they won't refund me. Not useful and terrible customer service do not use!

Found no relevant jobs unsubscribed immediately but global.ai refunded once I made them aware.
